Find available domain names in seconds. Paste a list of domains, or enter brand ideas and let the tool check every combination across the TLDs you choose (.com, .net, .org, .io, .ai, .co, .app, .dev and hundreds more). For each domain you get:

  • Status: available, taken, likely available or likely taken
  • For taken domains: registrar, registration date, expiry date, last changed date, status codes and nameservers
  • How it was checked (RDAP or DNS)

It uses RDAP, the official modern replacement for WHOIS run by the domain registries themselves, so results come straight from the source. For the few TLDs without RDAP (such as .io, .co and some country codes), it falls back to a public DNS lookup and marks the result as "likely".

Who is it for?

  • Founders and marketers naming a brand: test dozens of name ideas across many TLDs at once.
  • Domain investors: check big lists and see expiry dates of taken names.
  • Agencies and SEO teams: check client and competitor domains in bulk.
  • App builders and AI agents: add domain suggestions to your product with one API call.

How to use it

  1. Enter name ideas (like brightloom) and the TLDs to check, and optionally add prefixes (get, try) or suffixes (app, hq).
  2. Or paste full domains to check exactly.
  3. Click Start. Turn on Only return available domains to see just the free ones.

Input example

{
"names": ["brightloom", "loomly"],
"tlds": ["com", "net", "io", "ai", "co"],
"prefixes": ["get"],
"domains": ["example.com"]
}

Output example

[
{"domain": "brightloom.ai", "tld": "ai", "status": "available", "available": true, "method": "rdap"},
{"domain": "google.com", "tld": "com", "status": "taken", "available": false, "method": "rdap",
"registrar": "MarkMonitor Inc.", "registeredOn": "1997-09-15", "expiresOn": "2028-09-14"}
]

How much does it cost?

Pay-per-event: a small fee per domain checked, plus a tiny per-run start fee, with no subscription and no separate platform usage costs. For example, 1,000 domain checks cost about $0.50. Invalid domain names are not charged. Set Maximum cost per run to cap your spending.

Good to know

  • "Available" means the registry has no record of the domain. Premium or reserved names may still cost more or be blocked, so always confirm at a registrar before buying.
  • "Likely" results come from DNS and are very reliable, but not guaranteed.
  • No personal registrant data is collected; registries hide it under privacy rules anyway.

Use it through the API, integrations or AI agents

Run it from the Apify API, on a schedule, or connect it to Make, Zapier, n8n, Google Sheets or Slack. AI agents can call it through the Apify MCP server.

FAQ

Is it legal? Yes. RDAP is a public lookup service that registries provide for exactly this purpose, and the tool spreads its requests politely.
