Aave V3 Markets Scraper
Scrape Aave V3 market data across 11 chains, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, and Polygon. Get reserves, interest rates, liquidity, and collateral factors in one flat dataset. No RPC setup or smart contract calls. Export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML.
Aave V3's on-chain data is scattered across multiple networks and requires RPC endpoints and contract ABIs to read. This Actor queries the public Aave V3 subgraphs directly, so you get every reserve, its liquidity rate, borrow rate, and collateral configuration in one fixed schema. Filter by market and asset symbol, and collect up to a million markets per run.
| Who uses it | What they scrape Aave for |
|---|---|
| DeFi analysts | Compare lending rates across Aave V3 deployments to find yield opportunities |
| Risk managers | Monitor collateral factors and liquidation thresholds for asset exposure |
| Dapp developers | Feed live Aave market parameters into their own frontends or bots |
| Researchers | Build historical datasets of Aave V3 reserve states for modeling |
What it does
This Actor collects Aave V3 market data from the official subgraphs and returns each reserve as a flat row with its rates, liquidity, and risk parameters.
- ⛓️ Multi-chain support: Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Avalanche, Base, Metis, Gnosis, BNB Chain, Scroll, and zkSync.
- 🔍 Asset filter: Narrow results to a single symbol like USDC or WETH.
- 📊 Flat output: Each reserve is one row, ready for spreadsheets or databases.
- ⚡ Fast collection: Reads directly from subgraphs, no node sync or RPC calls.
Results export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML, or straight from the API.
What you can do with Aave data
📈 Track lending rates.
A DeFi analyst runs the Actor daily for the Ethereum market and compares liquidity rates to spot yield opportunities.
🛡️ Monitor risk parameters.
A risk manager collects collateral factors and liquidation thresholds for all reserves on Polygon to adjust their protocol's exposure.
🤖 Feed a trading bot.
A developer schedules the Actor every hour for Arbitrum and uses the borrow rates to trigger arbitrage strategies.
📚 Build a historical dataset.
A researcher runs the Actor weekly for all 11 markets and stores the flat rows to analyze rate trends over time.
Why choose this scraper
| What you get | |
|---|---|
| No RPC needed | Data comes from Aave's official subgraphs, so you skip node setup and contract decoding. |
| All chains in one run | Switch between Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, and more with a single input field. |
| Clean, flat records | Each reserve is a row with named fields, no nested JSON to parse. |
| Up to a million rows | Set maxItems high enough for full market snapshots across a chain. |
How it compares
No other Store actor targets Aave the same way, so the honest comparison is with the alternatives teams actually weigh.
| Aave V3 Markets Scraper | Build it in-house | By hand | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Setup | Run it now, zero config | Days of engineering | None, but hours per pull |
| When Aave changes | Maintained for you | You fix it | You re-learn the page |
| Proxies, retries, anti-bot | Built in | Your problem | Browser only |
| Output | Fixed JSON schema, CSV/Excel export | Whatever you build | Copy-paste |
| Cost | Pay per result | Engineering time | Analyst hours |
Configure the run
Select one of the 11 Aave V3 markets, optionally filter by asset symbol, and set a maximum number of markets to collect. The Actor returns every matching reserve in a flat schema. The Input tab lists every parameter.
A first run with the defaults:
{"maxItems": 10}
A larger pull:
{"maxItems": 200}
Pricing
Pay-per-result: $0.0085 per result collected. You pay only for the results written to your dataset.
| Results collected | Approximate cost |
|---|---|
| 100 results | $0.85 |
| 1,000 results | $8.50 |
| 10,000 results | $85.00 |

Free users
Free-plan runs return up to 10 results as a preview. Upgrade your Apify plan to collect up to 1,000,000 results per run.
Run it
- Create a free Apify account with $5 in credit.
- Open the Aave V3 Markets Scraper.
- Set your inputs and any filters, then click Start.
- Export the results as CSV, Excel, JSON, or XML from the Dataset tab.
Run it programmatically through the Apify API (run-sync-get-dataset-items) or the ApifyClient for JavaScript and Python.
Use with AI agents (MCP)
Give an AI agent live access to Aave through the Model Context Protocol. Add the Actor to Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client:
$claude mcp add --transport http apify "https://mcp.apify.com?tools=parseforge/aave-v3-markets-scraper"
Then prompt it in plain language to run the scraper and read back the results.
Troubleshooting
Why am I getting no results?
Check that the market input is set to a valid Aave V3 deployment and that the symbol filter, if used, matches an actual reserve symbol exactly (case-sensitive). Also ensure maxItems is at least 1.
The run fails with a timeout or network error.
The subgraph may be temporarily slow. Retry the run, or reduce maxItems to limit the number of reserves fetched. If the issue persists, check the Apify status page for platform incidents.
Some fields are missing or null in the output.
Not all reserves have every field populated, especially stable borrow rates which may be disabled. Null values mean the data is not available for that reserve at the time of the run.
I need data for a chain that is not in the market list.
Only the 11 official Aave V3 markets are supported. If Aave deploys V3 on a new chain, the Actor will be updated to include it. Check the input schema for the latest list.
FAQ
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| What data does this Actor return for each Aave V3 reserve? | Each row includes the reserve's symbol, underlying asset address, liquidity rate, variable borrow rate, stable borrow rate, total liquidity, available liquidity, utilization rate, collateral factor, reserve factor, and liquidation threshold. The exact fields are shown in the sample output. |
| Which Aave V3 markets are supported? | All official Aave V3 deployments: Ethereum mainnet, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Avalanche, Base, Metis, Gnosis, BNB Chain, Scroll, and zkSync. Select one per run from the market dropdown. |
| Can I filter by a specific asset like USDC? | Yes, use the optional symbol input to return only reserves whose symbol matches, for example USDC or WETH. Leave it empty to get all reserves in the selected market. |
| How many markets can I collect in one run? | Set maxItems to any number up to 1,000,000. The Actor will stop after collecting that many reserves, so you can grab a full market snapshot or a sample. |
| Do I need an RPC endpoint or API key? | No. The Actor queries Aave's public subgraphs directly, so there is no node setup, no API key, and no smart contract interaction required. |
| What output formats are available? | You can export the results as CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML from the Apify dataset, or use the API to pull the data programmatically. |
| Is the data live or historical? | The Actor reads the current state of the Aave V3 subgraph at the time of the run. For historical snapshots, schedule recurring runs and store the outputs. |
| Can I run this for multiple markets at once? | Each run targets one market. To collect multiple markets, run the Actor multiple times with different market inputs, or use the Apify API to loop over the market list. |
| What is the difference between total liquidity and available liquidity? | Total liquidity is the total amount of the asset supplied to the reserve. Available liquidity is the portion that can still be borrowed. Both are returned as separate fields. |
| Does this Actor return historical interest rate curves? | No, it returns the current rates and parameters. For historical rate data, you would need to run it periodically and store the results yourself. |
