Sortlist Agencies Scraper
Scrape agency profiles from Sortlist by service and country, up to a million per run. Every profile returns the agency name, description, location, team size, hourly rate, and client rating. No login or API key. Export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML.
Sortlist is a global directory of marketing, web, and creative agencies, but browsing it manually means clicking through pages and copying data by hand. This Actor reads the public agency listings for any service and country combination, applies your city filter, and returns structured profiles you can analyze or import into your CRM.
| Who uses it | What they scrape Sortlist for |
|---|---|
| Sales teams | Build a prospecting list of agencies in a target country filtered by the exact service they sell. |
| Market researchers | Map the competitive landscape of digital agencies in a region by size, rate, and specialty. |
| Recruiters | Identify growing agencies in a city to approach for partnership or hiring opportunities. |
| Agency founders | Benchmark their own positioning against local competitors on rate, team size, and client rating. |
What it does
This Actor collects agency profiles from Sortlist by service specialty and country, and returns each one as a flat row with its name, description, location, team size, hourly rate, and rating.
- ๐ Country and city targeting: narrow results to one country slug and optionally a single city.
- ๐ท๏ธ Service filtering: pick the exact specialty, from SEO and branding to web development and beyond.
- ๐ Structured output: every row holds the agency name, description, location, team size, hourly rate, and rating in a fixed schema.
- โก High-volume runs: paid users can pull up to 1,000,000 profiles in a single execution.
Results export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML, or straight from the API.

Troubleshooting
Why am I getting no results?
Check that your service slug and country slug match Sortlist's current URL structure exactly. Also try removing the city filter, as some city slugs may not exist for every country.
The Actor returns fewer results than I expected.
Sortlist paginates its listings. The Actor follows pages, but the total number of agencies for a service in a country is determined by Sortlist's own directory. Try broadening your filters.
I get an error about the country slug.
Country slugs are two-letter codes like 'us' or 'fr'. Visit Sortlist, select your country, and copy the slug from the URL. If the slug is wrong, the page will not load.
Some fields are empty in my results.
Not every agency fills in every field on Sortlist. Team size, hourly rate, or rating may be missing when the agency did not provide them.
The run stops at 10 items even though I set a higher maxItems.
Free Apify accounts are capped at 10 items as a preview. Upgrade to a paid plan to scrape more than 10 agencies per run.
