Troubleshooting

Why am I getting no results?

Check that your city name uses lowercase and hyphens (e.g. 'new-york', not 'New York'). Also verify the two-letter state code matches the city. If using direct URLs, make sure the URL points to a valid The Knot marketplace category or vendor profile page.

The scraper is running very slowly.

Profile enrichment adds one request per vendor, which slows the run. If speed is more important than contact details, disable the 'Enrich with vendor profile pages' option to collect listing-level data only.

Some vendors are missing phone numbers or emails even with enrichment on.

Not every vendor publishes contact details on their The Knot profile. The scraper extracts whatever is publicly available. If a field is blank, the vendor likely did not provide that information.

I get an error when using structured search without a city.

The structured search requires both a category and a city plus state code. If you leave the city or state empty, the actor cannot build a valid URL. Either fill in all three fields or use the Marketplace URLs input instead.

The actor stopped before collecting all vendors.

Check the 'Maximum vendors' setting. The actor stops when it hits that number. Increase the limit if you want more results, up to 1,000,000.
