Web Summit Speakers Scraper
Scrape Web Summit speaker profiles from the official speakers page, up to a million per run. Each speaker comes with their name, title, company, talk topic, and social links. No login or API key. Export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML.
Web Summit publishes its speaker list on a public page, but manually copying every profile for research or outreach is slow. This actor reads the official speakers directory directly and returns each person as a structured row. You control how many speakers to collect, from a handful to the entire lineup.
| Who uses it | What they scrape Web Summit for |
|---|---|
| Event marketers | Build a prospect list of speakers to invite to their own conferences. |
| PR agencies | Identify journalists and influencers attending Web Summit for media pitches. |
| Startup founders | Find investors and potential partners who are speaking at the event. |
| Sales teams | Generate a lead list of high-profile attendees for post-event outreach. |
| Conference organizers | Analyze speaker demographics and topic trends across the tech conference circuit. |
What it does
This Actor collects Web Summit speaker profiles from the official speakers page and returns each one as a flat row.
- π€ Speaker profiles: name, job title, company, and talk topic for each person.
- π Social links: Twitter, LinkedIn, and other public profile URLs where available.
- βοΈ Configurable volume: set a maximum number of speakers to scrape, from 1 to 1,000,000.
- π Structured output: every speaker is a flat row ready for CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML export.
Results export to CSV, JSON, Excel, or XML, or straight from the API.

Troubleshooting
Why am I getting no results?
Check that the start URL points to the live Web Summit speakers page. If the event is over and the page redirects, try finding an archived version of the URL.
The actor returns fewer speakers than I expected.
The page may lazy-load content. The actor waits for the page to render, but if the site structure changed, some profiles might not be captured. Try increasing the max items and check the page manually.
Some social links are missing in the output.
The actor collects only the links that are publicly visible on the speaker card. If a speaker did not provide a Twitter or LinkedIn profile to Web Summit, that field will be empty.
The run times out before reaching my max items.
The Web Summit page may be slow to load. Reduce the maximum items and run the actor in smaller batches, or increase the run timeout in your Apify actor settings.
The data looks different from what I see on the website.
Web Summit may have updated their page layout. The actor relies on the current page structure. If the output is empty or garbled, the scraper may need an update.
