Search the CMS Medical Equipment Suppliers public dataset (ct36-nrcq) for DMEPOS supplier-directory evidence. Find suppliers by exact provider ID, business/practice keyword, geography, specialty, provider type, reported supply category, assignment indicator, competitive-bidding contract indicator, and participation date.

Deterministic first run

Empty input uses provider ID 34362619 and returns one CRESCENT SERVICES II LLC row, including the source-reported Pharmacy specialty and supply categories.

The Actor normalizes pipe-delimited specialties, provider types, and supplies into arrays while retaining each original CMS string. It preserves the source's misspelled acceptsassignement field as acceptsAssignmentSource, and only adds a boolean when CMS reports a recognizable true/false value. Missing fields remain unknown.

Evidence and reliability

Every output row includes FOUND, NO_MATCH, or SOURCE_UNAVAILABLE, retrieval time, exact datastore query URL, dataset ID/name, filters/default warning, candidate-bound evidence, and source caveats. Exact/geographic/text datastore conditions are rechecked locally. Broad searches inspect at most maxCandidates (up to 5,000), then apply a total maxResults cap (up to 500). Transport, retryable HTTP status, body-read, and malformed-JSON failures receive bounded retries; Retry-After is bounded.

Pricing

Pay per event: $0.0001 per start + $0.002 per dataset item. The default returns one paid row, so its maximum first-run charge is $0.0021. An Apify maximum-total-charge limit reduces output before the source request; writes are batched.
