Search the Texas Comptroller Mixed Beverage Gross Receipts file on data.texas.gov (3.9 million monthly rows since 2007, about 21,000 locations per month, 290k page views). Every Texas bar, restaurant, hotel, club and venue with a mixed beverage permit reports its monthly alcohol sales, and the Comptroller publishes them.

Each result is one location for one month:

  • location name, address, city, ZIP and TABC permit number
  • reporting month
  • total receipts, split into liquor, wine, beer and cover charge
  • taxpayer (owner entity) name, taxpayer number and mailing address

By default you get the latest reported month, highest-grossing locations first. No API key, no CAPTCHA. Pricing: $0.002 per row + $0.0001 start.

Use cases

Beverage distributors and brand reps ranking accounts by volume, POS and hospitality software sales, bar and restaurant market sizing by city or ZIP, tracking a venue's sales trend, M&A and lender due diligence.

Limits

Self-reported tax data; recent months can be revised. The latest month fills in over a few weeks. No phone or email. Names are matched as substrings.
