🚀 Amazon Image Search Scraper: Search Amazon by Photo

Search Amazon by image and get the matching products as clean JSON, CSV or Excel. The Amazon Image Search Scraper takes photo links and returns the Amazon products that look like what is in the picture: ASIN, title, brand, price, list price, star rating, review count, product image and a match score. Use it to find a product by picture, hunt for Amazon dupes, or turn an outfit or room photo into a shop-the-look list, on 6 Amazon stores.

🎯 Use Cases

  • Find a product by image: paste a photo of something you saw online or in a shop and get the Amazon listings that look like it, with prices and ratings.
  • Find clothes by picture: an outfit photo returns matches for every piece Amazon detects (shoes, bag, top, trousers), each labelled with the item it came from.
  • Amazon dupes: find cheaper look-alikes of a branded product and compare price, list price and rating side by side.
  • Amazon shop the look: turn interior or fashion photos into shoppable Amazon products for every item in the picture.
  • Catalogue matching: map your own SKUs to Amazon ASINs by image instead of by title, for repricing or competitor research.
  • Product sourcing: check whether a product from a supplier photo is already sold on Amazon, by whom and at what price.

✨ Features

  • Photo in, products out: any direct JPEG or PNG link (up to 5 MB) or a data: URL. One search per image.
  • Every item in the photo: each item Amazon recognizes gets its own matches, labelled with the detected item (for example shoes / fashion_sneaker), the detection confidence and its position in your photo.
  • Full product rows: ASIN, product URL, title, brand, price, list price, currency, rating, review count, availability, product group, number of variations and colours, and the product image.
  • Ranked by similarity: best matches first, with Amazon's own match score.
  • No duplicates: a product found for two of your photos is saved once per run.
  • 6 Amazon stores: Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de, Amazon.it, Amazon.es and Amazon.in, with prices in the store's currency.
  • Fair billing: images that fail to load or match nothing are free, and the run stops cleanly at your maximum charge.

🛠️ How It Works

  1. Paste image URLs: product photos, screenshots, outfit or room pictures.
  2. Pick the Amazon store and how many products you want per image (default 50).
  3. Run the scraper: you get one row per matching product, with the image that found it, and can download the results or pull them through the API.

If you start a run with empty input, it searches these two example photos.

📊 Sample Output Data

One row per matching product, from a real run:

{

"title": "Nike Mens Free Flyknit 4.0 Brght Crmsn/White/Unvrsty Rd/T Running Shoe 10.5 M...",
"brand": "Nike",
"price": 329.99,
"listPrice": null,
"currency": "USD",

},
"marketplace": "amazon.com",
"scrapedAt": "2026-10-22T15:11:23.534Z"
}

listPrice is filled when Amazon shows a crossed-out price. matchScore is Amazon's similarity score (higher is closer) and position is the rank within that image. detectedObject.box is the area of your photo, in pixels, where the item was found, so you can tell which piece of an outfit a product matches.

🔁 Schedule and Integrate

For dupe hunting and price research, run the same photos once a week: each run is a dated snapshot of which look-alikes Amazon shows and what they cost. Set it up in Apify Schedules. Send the results to Google Sheets, Zapier, Make, n8n or a webhook with Apify integrations, so new matches land where your team already works.

❓ FAQ

Does Amazon have an official API for image search? Amazon's developer APIs are for approved Associates and sellers and look products up by keyword or ASIN, not by photo. This Actor needs no key or account: it returns the same public matches a shopper sees when searching Amazon by image, as structured rows you can export.

How do I search Amazon by image? In the Amazon app you can point the camera at a product (Amazon Lens). To search many photos at once, or to get the matches as data, paste the image links into this Actor and run it.

How do I find a product by picture across several stores? Run this Actor for Amazon, then the same photos through the AliExpress, Alibaba or Bing image search Actors listed below to compare prices across marketplaces.

Do I need an Amazon account? No.

How many products does one photo return? Usually 10 to 60 products with full details, more for pictures with several items (an outfit photo returned 74). Amazon decides how many matches it shows; there are no further pages. Matches are visual, so a few results can be loosely related items.

Why is a field empty? rating and reviewCount are null for products with no reviews yet, and listPrice is null when there is no crossed-out price. Some titles come shortened by Amazon and end with "...".

Which images work? JPEG and PNG up to 5 MB. WebP, GIF and AVIF are not supported; links on image CDNs that serve several formats are fetched as JPEG automatically.
