Examples:

• 100 profiles, no complaints or reviews = $1.50.

Profiles that return "not found" are free. Complaints and reviews are only collected (and charged) for businesses that have any. The run respects your maximum cost per run: it stops before going over it, keeps the businesses it finished, and says in the run status how many were left out.

❓ FAQ: BBB API, Complaints and Accreditation

Does BBB have an official API? BBB does not offer an open, self-serve API for business profiles; access to its data goes through BBB's licensing and partner programs. This Actor needs no key, approval or account and returns the public information shown on bbb.org profiles: rating, accreditation, contacts, licenses, complaints and reviews.

How do I check if a business is BBB accredited? Look at isAccredited and accreditedSince. The record also carries the BBB letter rating, the rating reasons and any alerts BBB has published about the business.

Can I look up BBB complaints for many businesses at once? Yes. Paste as many profile URLs as you need and turn on Include complaints. Each record keeps the complaint totals for the last 3 years and the last 12 months, and the complaints list holds the individual complaints up to your cap. BBB masks personal details in complaint text with asterisks, and they stay masked in the output.

Is this a contractor license lookup? Partly. It returns the licenses a business has listed on its BBB profile: number, issuing agency, agency link and expiration date. It does not query state licensing boards, so a business that lists no licenses on BBB has an empty licenses list.

Do I need a BBB account? No.

Why is a field empty? Businesses fill in their BBB profiles to different degrees: many list no email, employee count, payment methods or licenses, and accredited-since is empty for businesses that are not accredited. Those fields are null or an empty list then.

Which regions are supported? BBB business profile URLs for the US and Canada (bbb.org/us/... and bbb.org/ca/...).
