1. Enter pick-up locations: airport names or codes, cities, stations or Discover Cars location URLs (for example Barcelona Airport (BCN), LAX, Rome).
2. Pick the rental window: dates, times and driver age. Leave the dates empty for a 7-day rental starting 14 days from today. Set Max offers per location (default 50).
3. Run the scraper and download the results as JSON, CSV, Excel or HTML, or pull them through the Apify API into your spreadsheet, BI tool or pricing model.

price is the total for the whole rental and pricePerDay divides it by rentalDays. sipp is the industry ACRISS code (CFAE = compact, SUV, automatic, electric). depositAmount is the text shown on the offer, including the currency symbol; depositValue and depositValueMax are the same amount as numbers (some suppliers quote a range such as $445.00 – $1,780.00, which gives the low and high end). fullCoveragePrice is a number in your currency. scrapedAt matters because rental prices are perishable.

❓ FAQ

Does Discover Cars have an official API? Discover Cars runs an affiliate partner program, but it does not publish a public API for pulling its rental offers. This Actor needs no key, approval or account and returns the same public offers a traveller sees for a search, with supplier rating breakdowns, deposits and branch details in one flat row.

Is there a car rental API for price comparison? Most car rental APIs are built for travel agencies and need a commercial contract. This Actor works as a lightweight car rental API: send locations and dates through the Apify API and get back every supplier's offer, cheapest first.

How many offers can one search return? It depends on the market and dates. In our runs Los Angeles Airport returned about 340 offers, Barcelona Airport about 1,000 and London (city) about 4,400. You keep the cheapest N, where N is Max offers per location.

Are the prices live? Yes. Every row is a quote at the moment of the search, stamped with scrapedAt. Schedule the Actor to keep tracking your window.

Can I search several cities or one-way rentals? Yes. Add as many locations as you like; each one is a separate search, billed as one rental search. Set Drop-off location and every pick-up location is searched as a one-way rental to that point. Barcelona Airport (BCN) and Barcelona are different searches with different suppliers, so search both for the full market.

Why is a field empty, or why do I get fewer offers than expected? priceBeforeDiscount and discountPercent are only set when an offer has a promotion; promoName is only set for a named campaign and is usually null even on discounted offers. fuelType is an object such as { "key": "E", "label": "Electric" }, mostly set for electric and hybrid cars and null otherwise. transmission is null when the supplier doesn't state it. isExactModel is true only when the supplier guarantees that exact model, which is rare (under 1% of offers). fullCoveragePrice can be null where full coverage isn't sold (it was empty on Los Angeles offers). Fewer offers come from short or last-minute windows, young or senior drivers, and the country of residence, all of which reduce how many suppliers quote. The cheapest offers can also include the same car listed in several categories.

Do I need a Discover Cars account? No. The Actor collects publicly available rental offers only, with no login and no personal data. You are responsible for how you use the data and for following the site's terms and applicable laws.
