What your competitors charge, what they discount, what they sold out of, and what they just launched. Paste the store domains and get one row per store, side by side.
Reads the public catalog every Shopify store publishes. No API key, no account, no proxy.
What does this do?
Every other Shopify Actor either hands you a contact list of stores, or dumps the raw products of one store. Neither answers the question a brand owner actually has: how do we compare to the three shops we lose customers to?
This Actor reads each store's catalog, then reports the comparison: catalog size, median and range of prices, how much of the range is discounted and how deep, how much is sold out, and how many genuinely new products went up in the last weeks.

Who is it for?
| You are | You use it to |
|---|---|
| DTC brand owners | See whether you are priced above or below the shops you compete with, every week |
| Ecommerce managers | Catch a competitor's sale the day it starts, and see how deep it goes |
| Product and buying teams | Watch what rivals launch, and what they let sell out |
| Dropshippers and resellers | Find which store sells a product line cheapest, and what is new in a niche |
| Agencies and consultants | Put a real pricing benchmark in a pitch instead of a guess |
| Analysts | Track assortment and discounting across a set of brands over time |
What data do you get?
One row per store:
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
storeName, domain, country, currency | Who the store is, and the currency these prices came back in |
productsAnalyzed, variants, catalogTruncated | How much of the catalog was read |
medianPrice, averagePrice, lowestPrice, highestPrice | Where the store sits on price |
productsOnSale, onSalePercent, averageDiscountPercent, deepestDiscount | How much is marked down, and by how much |
inStockPercent, soldOutProducts | What is actually buyable right now |
newProducts, newProductPercent, newestProducts | Products created inside your window, newest first |
relaunchedProducts | Old products that went live again: seasonal lines coming back, not launches |
productsAddedPerWeek, newestProductAt | Launch pace, always measured over the last 90 days |
topProductTypes, topVendors | What the catalog is mostly made of |
keywordMatches, keywordLowestPrice, keywordMedianPrice, keywordCheapestProduct | The same comparison narrowed to one product line |
status, failureReason | ok, or why a store could not be read |
The run summary names the winners outright: cheapest store, deepest discounter, biggest catalog, most sold out, fastest launcher, and — with a keyword — the stores ranked by their cheapest matching product.
Turn on Also return every product as a row for a second table with price, was-price, discount, stock, vendor, type, launch date and link for every product.
Example: five clothing brands, one run
A real run on 17 September 2026, 5 stores, 3,961 products, 39 seconds:
| Store | Products | Median price | On sale | Avg discount | In stock | New (30d) | Re-launched | Added / week |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Everlane | 1,000 | $34 | 86% | 74% | 64% | 19 | 981 | 10.2 |
| Tentree | 1,000 | $62 | 34% | 22% | 93% | 7 | 178 | 31.1 |
| Allbirds | 294 | $105 | 0.3% | — | 35% | 0 | 4 | 0 |
| Taylor Stitch | 1,000 | $112 | 52% | 38% | 36% | 0 | 30 | 0 |
| Rothy's | 667 | $130 | 18% | 18% | 83% | 2 | 86 | 5.7 |
Read as a brief: Everlane was running a clearance across most of its catalog, Taylor Stitch had sold out of nearly two thirds of what it lists, Allbirds barely discounts at all, and Tentree was shipping new products faster than anyone.
With the keyword sweater, the same run ranked the stores by their cheapest sweater: Everlane from $20 (162 matches), Taylor Stitch from $65 (68), Tentree from $78 (50).
Two things this Actor gets right
A re-published product is not a new product. Many stores republish their catalog, which resets the published date on everything. Everlane looks like it launched 1,000 products last month; it created 19. This Actor uses the earlier of the created and published dates, and counts the rest separately as relaunchedProducts.
A store can answer in a different currency than its own. With Shopify Markets, the same catalog returns local prices based on where the request comes from, while the store's own settings still say USD. Every row reports the currency the prices really came in (currency), the shop's home currency (storeCurrency), and whether they match — and the comparison only ranks stores that answered in the same currency.
How to use it
- Paste your store domains, one per line:
allbirds.com,https://gymshark.com,www.rothys.comall work. - Optionally add a keyword such as
hoodieto compare one product line instead of whole catalogs. - Pick what counts as new (7, 14, 30 or 90 days) and a cap per store to control cost.
- Run it. A five store run takes well under a minute.
Limits worth knowing
- About 15% of stores keep their catalog closed. A store can switch the public catalog off, rate limit it or sit behind a bot filter. Those stores come back as
catalog not publicwith the reason, and are never charged for. - Prices exclude tax and shipping, and are whatever the store served this run.
- Discounts are only visible when the store uses a was-price. Shops that discount in the cart instead (Allbirds, above) correctly show almost nothing on sale.
- Big catalogs are read newest first. If a store has more products than your cap, the row says
catalogTruncated: trueand the numbers describe the newest part of the catalog. - This reads what a store publishes to anyone who visits. It is not a private data source and needs no login.
