CeX Scraper - Prices, Trade-In Values & Stock (webuy.com)

Get CeX prices from webuy.com in 11 countries: what CeX sells each product for, what it pays in cash and voucher trade-in, stock online and in which stores, condition grade, price history and specs, for over 1.6 million second-hand phones, games, laptops, cameras, consoles and films. Search like on CeX, filter by department, category, grade, price, stock or price drops, sort the results, with no 50-result cap, and export to Excel, CSV, JSON or the API.

Actively maintained. Last update: 2026-11-04. Every release passes 180+ automated tests on saved CeX data plus a check against the live site, and Apify test-runs it every day.

What can you use it for?

  • Reselling and arbitrage. Compare CeX's cash and voucher prices with what a product sells for elsewhere, or the same product between stores and countries.
  • Trade-in price tracking. See what CeX pays for every iPhone, Galaxy, console or laptop today, and schedule a daily run to follow it.
  • Price drop alerts. Get only products whose price just fell, with the old price, the new price and the date.
  • Local stock finder. Know which CeX stores have a product, and how many units are online.
  • Used-market research. Real second-hand prices by grade, model and capacity across thousands of products.

How to use it

  1. Type a Search like on CeX (e.g. iphone 13), or pick Departments / categories, or both.

countriesCeX stores to search in one run (empty = United Kingdom)

maxItemsStop after this many products
maxConcurrencyRequests made at the same time (keep low to be polite)

How much does it cost?

You pay $0.90 per 1,000 products returned (plus a tiny $0.00005 per run start). Platform usage is included.

ProductsCost
100$0.09
Every iPhone 13 in the UK (~360)about $0.33
10,000$9.00
Every Android phone in the UK (~27,000)about $24

Apify's free plan gives you $5 of credit every month: that's about 5,500 products. Set a spending limit on any run and the scraper stops exactly there.

Use it via API, on a schedule, or with your tools

  • Schedule it daily or weekly to track prices, trade-in values and stock.
  • Only new products: turn it on in a scheduled run or task and each run returns only products you haven't had yet.
  • Integrations: send results to Google Sheets, Slack, e-mail, Zapier, Make or a webhook.
  • API: run it from your own code and download results as JSON, CSV or Excel.
from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("pshivam/cex-scraper").call(run_input={"keyword": "iphone 13", "grades": ["A"], "maxItems": 200})
for product in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
print(product["title"], product["sellPrice"], product["cashPrice"], product["storeCount"])

Use it in Clay, n8n, Make or Zapier

Actor: pshivam/cex-scraper. Paste this input and change the filters to yours:

{"countries": ["uk"], "keyword": "iphone 13", "inStockOnly": true, "maxItems": 500}
  • Clay: create a table from an Apify source to pull in the results of a scheduled run of this Actor (it refreshes every 24 hours by default), or use the Run Apify Actor enrichment and paste the input.
  • n8n: add the Apify node, choose Run Actor and get dataset items, pick this Actor and paste the input.
  • Make: use Run an Actor with Run synchronously on, then Get Dataset Items with the run's dataset ID.
  • Zapier: schedule this Actor in Apify, then use the Finished Actor Run trigger and Fetch Dataset Items.

Good to know

  • It searches like CeX's own website, with the same search and the same results, up to 250 products per request.
  • No 50-result cap. CeX's search serves 1,000 products per search, so bigger searches are read in parts (by category, then by price range) and you get everything. A group of over 2,000 products in one category at one exact price (e.g. £1 DVDs) is read from both ends of the alphabet: up to 2,000 of it.
  • Each store has its own names and ids. Category names are in the store's language, and a product can have a different id in another store.
  • Sorting holds within each part of a very big search (over 1,000 products).

FAQ

What is CeX?

CeX (webuy.com) is a chain of second-hand stores that buys and sells phones, games, laptops, cameras, consoles and films, in 11 countries here including the UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Poland, Australia, India, Malaysia and Mexico.

How many products are there?

Over 1.6 million across all stores, about 590,000 of them in the UK.

How much does it cost?

$0.90 per 1,000 products (platform usage included), so 100 products cost $0.09 and every iPhone 13 in the UK about $0.33.

What is the difference between cash and exchange price?

cashPrice is what CeX pays you in cash for a product, exchangePrice what it pays in store voucher (higher), and sellPrice what it sells it for.

How do I find price drops?

Turn on Price drops only: you get products whose sellPrice is below previousPrice, with priceChange and priceChangedAt.

Can I see which store has a product?

Yes. stores lists the CeX stores that have it in stock and storeCount counts them; inStockOnline and stockQuantity cover the website.

How do I get only new products every day?

Save your search as a task, turn on Only new products and schedule it daily. Each run then skips the products earlier runs returned, so you get and pay only for ones you haven't had. Tip: set Maximum products above the number of products your search has, so the first run gets them all and later runs return just the new ones.

This scraper reads public product data through the same search CeX's website uses, at a polite speed, and collects no personal data. You are responsible for how you use the data; check the site's terms for your use case.
