All numbers come from the DataForSEO Backlinks API under its licence; the actor never scrapes a search engine or an SEO tool. domain_rank is the supplier's 0–1,000 authority score, spam_score its 0–100 spam estimate (higher is worse); referring_main_domains collapses subdomains into one domain.

Each batch of up to 1,000 targets makes six supplier requests (rank, backlinks, referring domains, spam score, new/lost backlinks, new/lost referring domains) and is billed one lookup ($0.15) on top of the per-domain price. Pass bare domains (example.com); subdomains and page URLs are accepted and measured as given.

new_* and lost_* count links gained and lost since dateFrom (default: the last month, at most one year back). A metric is null when the supplier has no data for that target or its request failed; the row is still returned.

Bring your own DataForSEO credentials in the two optional inputs if you prefer the supplier charge on your own account; the row price stays the same.

Pricing

Pay per domain: $0.008 each ($8.00 per 1,000), plus $0.15 per lookup (one batch of up to 1,000 domains). The first 10 rows of every run are free; a 20-domain test therefore costs $0.23.

How to run

1. Keep the defaults for the standard sample, or set the inputs (listed last, below).
2. Run. Results land in the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel.
3. From code or an agent: call it through the API, or as an MCP tool via mcp.apify.com.

Source and fair use

Data: DataForSEO Backlinks API (bulk endpoints), licensed. The data is bought from the supplier under its API terms on every run; nothing is scraped from any website. Rows are facts about domains, and no personal data of individuals is included.

How fresh is the data? Each run fetches live from the source. Can I get more fields? Open an issue naming the field and where it appears at the source. Something broke? Open an issue. Inputs

• domains: One domain, subdomain or page URL per line (commas also work), e.g. example.com or blog.example.com. Up to 1,000 per supplier batch; longer lists run in several batches.
• dateFrom: Optional start date (YYYY-MM-DD, at most one year back) for the new/lost counts. Empty = the last month.
• sandbox: Use the supplier's test environment: same row structure, dummy numbers, no supplier charge. For wiring tests only.
• dfsLogin: Optional: your own DataForSEO API login. Leave empty to use ours.
• dfsPassword: Optional: your own DataForSEO API password. Leave empty to use ours.
• maxItems: Stop after this many rows.
