The small example is also the Store-health input. It is intentionally bounded so Apify's automated test completes quickly and returns a non-empty default dataset.

Output

Each review row includes:

• reviewId, appId, and storefront country;
• star rating;
• title and full review text;
• reviewer author;
• updatedAt and isEdited;
• reviewUrl;
• exact sourcePage, sourceUrl, and sourceTransport;
• UTC scrapedAt.

The current public web endpoint does not expose the legacy RSS fields appVersion, voteSum, voteCount, or reviewer profile URL, so those compatibility fields are returned as null.

Pricing

Pay per unique review row saved. Duplicate reviews and rows filtered out by rating are not billed as review rows.

Source and compatibility note

Apple's legacy itunes.apple.com/rss/customerreviews feed now returns valid but empty responses from Apify cloud. This Actor has been migrated to the public reviews endpoint used by apps.apple.com: /api/apps/v1/catalog/{country}/apps/{appId}/reviews.

The Actor name/title is retained for compatibility with existing Store links and integrations, but production data now comes from Apple's public web reviews API.

The current Apple web reviews API uses Apple-defined ordering. The legacy sortBy input is retained for backward compatibility, but mostRecent and mostHelpful do not change the current source ordering.

Important limitations

• The source is an undocumented public endpoint used by Apple's own web storefront, so Apple can change it without notice.
• Each request currently returns 10 reviews. maxPagesPerAppCountry controls how many 10-review offsets are requested.
• Apple chooses result ordering; this endpoint does not provide a reliable newest/helpful sort switch.
• If Apple changes or removes the endpoint, a successful HTTP response alone is not considered sufficient health evidence; Store QA requires actual non-empty review output for the default example.
