Paste a public app URL from apps.apple.com or play.google.com. Each screenshot becomes one dataset row. No store login is required.
What can this screenshot text scraper do?
- Accept Apple App Store and Google Play app URLs in the same run.
- Collect the phone screenshots shown on the public app page.
- Optionally include iPad screenshots for Apple apps.
- Transcribe the text printed on each screenshot.
- List the feature claims that screenshot is making.
- Cap screenshots per app with
maxItems. - Export JSON, CSV, or Excel and schedule a repeat through Apify.

How to read app store screenshots
- Open the app on the App Store or Google Play and copy the URL.
- Paste it into Start URLs. Add the other store if you want both.
- Set Maximum images. The default is 3 so a test stays small.
- Turn on Include iPad screenshots only when you want the tablet set too.
- Start the run and download the dataset.
An Apple URL looks like https://apps.apple.com/us/app/whatsapp-messenger/id310633997. A Play URL looks like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.whatsapp.
Use cases

- Sample a category of apps with one URL each.
- Watch one listing on a schedule.
- Hand the text to a messaging spreadsheet.
- See which screens lead with price.
- Confirm a localized storefront changed the headline.
- Build a sheet of package names beside their on-screen claims.
