Classic Driver Scraper — Collector Car Listings, Prices & Dealers
Classic Driver Scraper extracts collector and classic car listings from ClassicDriver.com, the European marketplace known for curated dealer stock. Each result includes make, model, model year, mileage with unit, seller name and type, country, condition and a main image, plus the asking price when the listing shows one. Filter by make and year range, pick how many listings you want, and export JSON, CSV or Excel. Start with the default of 10 listings.
Why scrape Classic Driver?
Classic Driver is a reference point for dealer-listed collector cars. Classic Driver Scraper is useful for:
- Dealers and brokers: monitor competitors' inventory by make and year.
- Valuation and insurance teams: collect asking-price comparables and condition grades.
- Investors and market researchers: follow supply for a marque or model over time.
- Data teams: combine dealer listings with auction results for a fuller price picture.
What input does Classic Driver Scraper accept?
| Parameter | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
make | string, nullable | prefill porsche | Car make, for example porsche, ferrari, mercedes-benz, jaguar. Leave empty for all makes. |
year_min | integer, nullable | none | Earliest model year (1886 to 2030). |
year_max | integer, nullable | none | Latest model year (1886 to 2030). |
max_items | integer | 100 (prefill 10) | Maximum listings to extract (1 to 50,000). |
max_pages | integer, nullable | none | Maximum search result pages. If empty, max_items is the only limit. |
proxyConfiguration | object | prefill Apify residential proxy | The site is Cloudflare-protected; residential proxy is recommended for reliable runs. |
Example: Porsche listings from 1990 onward, up to 200 results.
{"make": "porsche","year_min": 1990,"max_items": 200,"proxyConfiguration": { "useApifyProxy": true, "apifyProxyGroups": ["RESIDENTIAL"] }}
Example: quick test, all makes.
{"max_items": 10,"proxyConfiguration": { "useApifyProxy": true, "apifyProxyGroups": ["RESIDENTIAL"] }}
The Actor uses a headless browser to load the site. It does not guarantee access: if the site changes its protection, runs may return fewer results, and in that case please open an issue.
What data does Classic Driver Scraper return?
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
id | integer | Classic Driver internal listing ID |
listing_type | string | dealer or classified |
url | string | Direct link to the listing |
title | string | Full listing title |
brand | string | Car make |
model | string | Car model |
model_year | integer | Year of manufacture |
price | number | Asking price; can be null |
price_currency | string | Currency code such as EUR, GBP or USD; null when there is no price |
mileage_value | integer | Odometer reading |
mileage_unit | string | km or mi |
seller_name | string | Dealer or private seller name |
seller_type | string | Seller classification, for example Dealer |
country | string | Country code of the car's location, for example US |
condition | string | Condition grade, for example Restored or Pre-owned |
image_url | string | Main listing image URL |
scraped_at | datetime | UTC timestamp of extraction |
source | string | Documented as always classicdriver.com |
Price can be missing. In the sample output both listings had price and price_currency set to null, so treat price as optional and filter on it in your own pipeline if you need priced cars only. Mileage comes in the unit shown on the listing, so normalise km and mi before comparing cars.
Real sample output (two items abridged to one):
{"id": 1126807,"listing_type": "dealer","url": "https://www.classicdriver.com/en/car/porsche/cayman/2016/1126807","title": "2016 Porsche Cayman - Cayman GT4","brand": "Porsche","model": "Cayman","model_year": 2016,"price": null,"price_currency": null,"mileage_value": 9200,"mileage_unit": "km","seller_name": "Grand Prix Classics","seller_type": "Dealer","country": "US","condition": "Restored","image_url": "https://www.classicdriver.com/sites/default/files/users/31693/cars_images/31693-1126807-car-20260911_000725-img_4568.jpg?1789660812","scraped_at": "2026-09-17T19:39:24.151098+00:00","source": "classicdriver.com"}
How much does it cost to scrape Classic Driver?
Classic Driver Scraper uses pay-per-event pricing:
| Event | Price |
|---|---|
| Actor Start (one event per GB of memory, minimum one) | $0.0005 |
| Result (each item in the dataset) | $0.0019 |
Worked example with the default 1,024 MB memory (one start event): 1,000 listings = 1,000 × $0.0019 + $0.0005 = $1.9005. 100 listings cost $0.1905, 10,000 listings cost $19.0005, and a 10-listing test costs $0.0195. The prices above are the per-event charges. Residential proxy traffic and any platform usage follow your Apify plan, so check the Pricing tab before large runs. Lower max_items to cap spend.

FAQ
Why is price null? Some listings come back without a price. The Actor does not invent one.
Does it return only dealers? listing_type can be dealer or classified, so both types are possible. Filter on that field if needed.
Which currencies appear? price_currency is an ISO code such as EUR, GBP or USD when a price exists. No conversion is applied.
How do I limit cost? Set max_items and optionally max_pages.
How long does a run take? The previous documentation says 10 Porsche listings take under 90 seconds with default settings. The default run timeout is 300 seconds, so raise it for larger max_items values.
Is it legal? The Actor reads public listing pages. You are responsible for respecting the site's terms and data-protection rules for any personal data, such as seller names.
Where do I report issues? Use the Actor's Issues tab with the run ID.
