⚠️ Composite key: model_code is NOT a unique identifier by itself — it is an equipment/body code that can repeat across different type_id values (e.g. same model_code shared by two distinct trims with different type_id). The real unique key per record is country_code + model_code + type_id + base_price. If you upsert or deduplicate on model_code alone you will merge unrelated trims.

ℹ️ VISO markets (DE, NL, ES, PL, EE, LV, LT, BE, CH, DK, FI, SA, BH, KW, OM, QA, JO, LB, ZA): engine_type, fuel_type, power_kw, displacement, transmission and wheel_drive are populated at the top level from the configurator's efficiency/technical data. power_hp and engine_description are left as null — VISO has no source field for either, so these are never guessed. ℹ️ Saudi Arabia (SA): the VISO catalogue for this market returns most carlines.name values in Arabic script (e.g. تيرامونت, تيغوان) — only one carline is exposed in English ("New Golf GTI"). models_filter matches by substring against the exact carline name and does not transliterate, so a Latin-script filter (e.g. "Tiguan", "Teramont") will silently match 0 carlines in SA. To collect SA data, either leave models_filter empty or use the exact string "New Golf GTI". This pattern is confirmed only for SA today — the other GCC markets (JO, BH, KW, OM, QA) expose Latin-script carline names and are unaffected.
