Turn any public MembershipWorks directory into clean, structured business leads. Thousands of chambers of commerce, professional associations, and nonprofits run their member directories on MembershipWorks. Point this Actor at a directory URL and get, per member: business name, contact person, phone, fax, website, full address (street, city, county, state, zip, geo), category, and a profile link.

Real run: a public chamber directory turned into a ranked call list — 15 businesses → 12 emails added → AI-scored leads with written openers

Why it's reliable & cheap

Built specifically for how MembershipWorks directories are structured — runs are fast, cost pennies, need no proxies, and the output stays stable even when a chamber redesigns its website.

Public data only

It reads solely the fields members chose to make public. MembershipWorks protects member email addresses, so email is usually empty — but you get the business name, a named contact, phone, website, and mailing address, which is what B2B outreach actually needs.

Input

Paste one or more directory page URLs — the Actor auto-detects the organization id:

{
"startUrls": [{ "url": "https://www.westonmo.com/chamber-directory" }],
"fetchProfiles": true,
"maxRecords": 1000
}

Already know the numeric org id? Pass it directly in orgIds instead.

  • fetchProfiles (default on): full contact detail per member. Turn off for a faster, cheaper listing-only pull (name, tagline, category, geo).
  • onlyNewSinceLastRun: schedule the Actor and get only members you haven't seen before — a clean feed for your CRM.
  • maxRecords / maxRecordsPerOrg: cost controls.

Output example

{
"name": "Adams Mayfair Company",
"contactPerson": "Chris Koonce",
"phone": "8166400110",
"website": "https://www.adamsmayfair.com/",
"address": "410 Main Street, Weston, MO, 64098",
"city": "Weston",
"state": "MO",
"county": "Platte County",
"profileUrl": "https://www.westonmo.com/chamber-directory#!directory/ord=srt/613a3be5585fab354e3a90d5",
"orgId": "27790",

Who buys this

Sales teams selling to local businesses (POS, insurance, marketing, SaaS), event & sponsor outreach, market research, and anyone building a regional B2B list from chamber/association membership.

Notes & honest limits

  • Emails are not exposed by MembershipWorks (hidden by design), so there is no email column — pair this with our Business Website Contact Extractor to add emails from each business's own site. You still get a named contact, phone, website, and address.
  • Categories appear only when the organization uses directory folders; otherwise the column is simply absent (never guessed).
  • Works on any public MembershipWorks directory. If a directory is members-only (login required), it simply returns nothing for that org.
  • Also scrape Wild Apricot association directories with our companion Actor.

Scheduling recipe

Turn on onlyNewSinceLastRun, schedule daily/weekly, and add a Google Sheets or Slack integration to get a rolling feed of new member businesses in your target directories.

🔗 Part of a lead-generation suite (scrape → enrich → qualify)

This Actor works best chained with its companions on the same account:

  1. Directory scrapers — get businesses/members (name + website) from Wild Apricot, MembershipWorks, or ChamberMaster / GrowthZone directories.
  2. Business Website Contact Extractor — add the emails/phones the directories hide.
  3. AI Lead Qualifier — score each lead against your ICP and write a personalized opener.

Pass any Actor's dataset ID into the next step to run the whole pipeline.
