Platsbanken Scraper: Sweden Jobs, Employers, Org Numbers

Get Swedish job ads from Platsbanken, the job board of the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen), as clean, flat JSON, CSV or Excel. The actor reads the official JobTech JobSearch API, not the website, so it is fast, stable and does not break when the page design changes.

Tens of thousands of current ads, every region, every occupation. Filter by search text, region, municipality, occupation field, employer, employment type, working hours, publication date and more. Put a date filter on it, schedule it daily, and you have a live feed of new Swedish jobs.

What you get

Price: $2.00 per 1,000 job ads on the Free plan, $1.52 on the Business plan, paid per row delivered; the $5 monthly credit of a free Apify account covers about 2,500 job ads. Details in Pricing below.

Each job ad becomes one row with more than 60 fields:

• Ad: ID, URL, headline, publication date, application deadline, number of vacancies, removed flag
• Employer: name, workplace, Swedish organisation number, website, logo
• Job: occupation, occupation group (with SSYK code), occupation field, employment type, duration, working hours and percent, salary type, workplace model (on-site / remote)
• Place: municipality, region (län), street address, postcode, city, latitude and longitude, other workplaces
• Requirements: experience, driving licence, own car, must-have and nice-to-have skills, languages, education
• Text: full description as plain text, plus the structured sections (company information, needs, requirements, conditions) when the employer filled them in. HTML version on request.
• English labels for occupation field, employment type, duration and working hours, next to the Swedish originals

Why this actor

• Official source. Data comes from Arbetsförmedlingen's open JobSearch API. No browser, no proxies, no blocking.
• No 2,000-result cap. The API stops at 2,000 results per query. The actor splits the date range automatically and keeps going, so you can pull every ad in a region or in all of Sweden in one run.
• Filters that match Platsbanken. Regions and occupation fields are dropdowns. Municipalities can be typed by name (all 290 are recognised).
• Relative dates. publishedAfter accepts 7 days, 24 hours, 2 weeks or a date, which makes daily and hourly schedules trivial.
• No personal data. See the privacy section below.
• You stay in control of cost. Pay per ad. The run stops cleanly when your maximum charge is reached.

How to use it

1. Open the Actor and fill in Search text (the other fields are optional filters).
2. Set Maximum job ads to a small number for a first try (the default is a safe start).
3. Optional: tick Count only and start once. You get the number of matching rows and the estimated cost, for free (only the start event is charged). Untick it to get the data.
4. Click Start. The status line shows progress; the run stops cleanly at your limit or at the charge limit you set in the run options.
5. Open the Dataset tab and download JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or HTML, or send the rows to Google Sheets, Slack, Make, n8n or Zapier with the Integrations tab.
6. To run it on a schedule, use Schedules in Apify Console and turn on Only new rows since the last run below: every run then costs only the new rows, and a webhook URL tells you when something new came in.

Pay per result. You pay for each job ad delivered to your dataset, nothing else: no subscription, no minimum, no charge for rows your filters drop or for the requests behind them.

Example: 1,000 job ads cost $2.00 on the Free plan and $1.52 on the Business plan. Platform usage of the run (compute, storage) is included in that price and is not billed to you separately (pay per event: the actor covers it). A start event of $0.00005 is charged once per run (Apify default). Cap your spend: set Maximum total charge in the run options. The actor stops cleanly when the cap is reached and you keep everything delivered until then. The run summary (RUN_SUMMARY in the key-value store) says why a run stopped. Check before you pay: turn on Count only to see how many rows match and what they would cost at your tier. That run delivers nothing and costs only the start event.

Automation: only new rows, notifications, schedules

Only new rows since the last run. Turn on onlyNew and the actor remembers every job ad it delivered to you (in a key-value store named rowcraft-platsbanken-jobs-scraper-state in your Apify account). The next run with the same stateName skips what you already have and you pay only for new rows. The first run delivers everything that matches. Use a different stateName for each schedule or search so they keep separate memories.

Notification when the run ends. Put a webhook address in notifyUrl and the actor sends one JSON POST with the number of new rows, links to the dataset (JSON and CSV) and the run. It works out of the box with Slack and Discord incoming webhooks (the message is in text and content), with Make, n8n and Zapier catch hooks, and with your own endpoint. By default it is sent only when there is at least one new row; notifyWhenEmpty sends it every time.

Schedules. Create a schedule in Apify Console (hourly, daily, weekly or cron) with onlyNew on. A daily schedule gives you a feed of new job ads for the price of the new rows only.

Integrations. Send the results to Make, n8n, Zapier, Google Sheets, Slack, Google Drive, Airtable or any webhooks from the Integrations tab of the Actor, with no code. Apify also offers native actions for Make, n8n and Zapier.

Count only. countOnly returns the number of matching job ads and the estimated cost without delivering anything, so you can size a job before paying for it.

What this actor does not do

• Jobs from other countries: Platsbanken covers Sweden only (ads marked "abroad" are included when you ask for them).
• History: the API offers only ads that are currently published. Schedule the actor and keep the datasets if you need an archive.
• Contact persons, applications or CVs: never read.
• Scraping of the Platsbanken website or logins: the actor uses the official open API only.

Limits and fair use

• The actor sends one request per second by default and fetches 100 ads per request. You can slow it down; you cannot go below 250 ms.
• Only ads that are currently published on Platsbanken are available. The API does not offer an archive. To build history, schedule the actor daily and keep the datasets.
• Ad content is written by employers. The actor passes it on as published.
• Times are Swedish local time (Europe/Stockholm), as in the API. A date or time without a zone is read the same way, and relative values such as 24 hours are counted from now.
• Sort order. With up to 2,100 ads wanted, the order you choose is exact. Above that the actor works through date windows (newest window first for newest-first sorts), so the order holds inside each window.
• Employer filter. Give a name (Vattenfall AB) or a 10-digit organisation number (556036-2138). Names are matched on the whole phrase, not word by word.
• Municipality filter. An ad is kept when any of its workplaces is in the municipality, so an ad with several workplaces can show another municipality in municipality and the match in otherWorkplaces.

Data source and licence

Source: Arbetsförmedlingen JobSearch API (jobsearch.api.jobtechdev.se). The ads are published under the CC0 public-domain licence, which allows commercial reuse. This actor is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Arbetsförmedlingen or JobTech.

Privacy: no personal data

Rowcraft actors are built not to collect personal data:

• Contact persons, contact e-mail addresses and contact phone numbers are removed from every ad before it reaches your dataset.
• E-mail addresses and phone numbers that employers write inside the ad text are replaced with [email removed] and [phone removed].
• Employer name, organisation number, website and workplace address are company data and stay in.
• Names of contact persons written in the ad text are replaced with [name removed] when they follow a contact cue, as in "Kontaktperson: …", "kontakta …" or "Rekryterare: …".
• A name written anywhere else in free text cannot be told apart from ordinary words reliably. If you need to be sure that no such text reaches you, switch off Include the ad text: the structured fields (occupation, place, type, requirements) are enough for most analyses.

FAQ

Is this web scraping? No. It uses the official open API that Arbetsförmedlingen provides for developers. No login or API key is needed.

How many ads can I get in one run? All of them. The actor walks past the API's own limit of 2,000 results per query by splitting the date range.

Can I get ads from Norway, Finland or Denmark? Not with this actor. A multi-country Nordic version is planned.

Why do some ads have no salary? Most Swedish employers do not state a salary. The salaryType field says how pay is set; salaryDescription is filled when the employer wrote something.

An ad disappeared between two runs. Ads are removed when the employer closes them or the deadline passes. Run the actor on a schedule if you need to keep history.

How much does it cost? $2.00 per 1,000 job ads on the Free plan, less on paid plans (see Pricing). You pay only for rows delivered to your dataset; set a maximum total charge in the run options to cap a run.

Can I pay only for new job ads? Yes. Turn on Only new rows since the last run: the actor remembers what it delivered to you and later runs with the same state name deliver (and charge) only the new rows.

How do I get the results into Slack, Google Sheets, Make, n8n or Zapier? Use the Integrations tab of the Actor for the data, and the notifyUrl field for a message when a run ends (Slack and Discord webhooks work directly; catch hooks of Make, n8n and Zapier too).

The run finished with 0 rows. Did I pay? No: with no rows delivered nothing is charged apart from the start event. Check the run summary (RUN_SUMMARY) for warnings, widen the filters, or run with Only new rows off if everything matching was already delivered to you.
