This actor searches the DOL VETS-4212 dataset containing required veteran employment data from federal contractors and subcontractors. Under VEVRAA (Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act), federal contractors must annually report their veteran hiring data.

Each record includes:

  • Total employees and total veterans
  • Veteran categories: disabled, active duty wartime, Armed Forces Service Medal, recently separated
  • New hire data: total new hires, veteran new hires, disabled veteran new hires
  • VEVRAA compliance scoring based on the federal benchmark (~5.4%)
