What it does

The actor searches the Nevada State Contractors Board (NSCB) public license directory across the county and trade classification combinations you pass as input, parses each result row, applies your optional status, city and name filters, and writes one normalized record per contractor license to the run's dataset. Each record carries the business name, full office address, phone, license number, trade classifications, monetary bid limit, license status and expiry date. Dates are normalized to YYYY-MM-DD, and missing source values are returned as null.

Data covers Nevada licensed contractors only. The source is the official NSCB public listing.

<DATASET_ID> is returned as defaultDatasetId in the run object. Use offset and limit to page through large result sets. clean=true drops empty and internal fields.

Billing and limits

• No charge on failure. If a run errors, the actor writes a single item with a populated error field and does not charge for it. Empty runs cost nothing.
• Spend cap respected. Set maxTotalChargeUsd on the run; once reached, the actor stops emitting and charging further billable results.
• Free Apify plans are capped at 10 records per run. Upgrade for higher maxLicenses.

FAQ and troubleshooting

A run returned 0 records. Why? The county and trade combination matched no licenses, or your statuses/cities/nameContains filters excluded everything. Loosen filters or widen the county and classification. Zero-result runs are not charged.

How do I pull an entire county? Leave classifications empty and set the counties you want. The actor iterates every trade classification for those counties.

Can I get only active licenses? Yes. Set statuses to ["Active"]. Combine with a cities or nameContains filter to narrow further.

Why is a field null? The NSCB listing did not publish that value for the license. Missing source values are returned as null, never invented.

Does it include contractor phone numbers? Yes, when the board publishes them. Each record includes the office phone, address and monetary bid limit alongside the license details.

Is this an official NSCB tool? No. This actor is independent and has no affiliation with the Nevada State Contractors Board. It reads only data that is publicly available in the NSCB listing. Use the results in accordance with the source's terms.
