What it does

The actor queries the public SII (Servicio de Impuestos Internos) taxpayer situation service for each RUT you pass, validates the verification digit automatically, and writes one normalized record per RUT to the run's dataset. Each record carries the registered name (razon social), taxpayer type, tax status (situacion tributaria), whether and when activities started, all registered economic activities with their SII codes, categories and IVA flags, plus the foreign-currency and SME (empresa de menor tamano) flags and electronic-document indicators.

RUTs are accepted in any common format (76.086.428-5, 760864285 or 76086428). Missing source values are returned as null and lists as empty arrays, never invented. A RUT that is not found returns a record with found: false.

<DATASET_ID> is returned as defaultDatasetId in the run object. Use offset and limit to page through large result sets. clean=true drops empty and internal fields.

Billing and limits

• Pay per result. You are charged per taxpayer record returned (result event). See the pricing tab for the current per-result price.
• No charge on failure. If a lookup errors, the actor does not charge for it. A RUT that is simply not found returns a record with found: false.
• Spend cap respected. Set maxTotalChargeUsd on the run; once reached, the actor stops emitting and charging further billable results.
• Free Apify plans are capped at 10 records per run. Upgrade for higher maxRecords.
• One record per RUT. Each valid RUT you pass produces one result.

FAQ and troubleshooting

A RUT came back with found: false. Why? The SII taxpayer situation service has no public record for that RUT, or the RUT is not a registered taxpayer. Records not found are not charged as errors.

Do I need to format the RUT with dots and a dash? No. Any common format works (76.086.428-5, 760864285 or 76086428). The verification digit is validated automatically.

Why is boletaElectronicaUltimoAno null? The taxpayer has no electronic receipts on record, or that indicator is not published. Missing source values are returned as null, never invented.

Why are some activity names cut off? SII publishes some activity names truncated in the situation view. The actor returns them exactly as shown, without inventing the rest.

Is this an official SII tool? No. This actor is independent and has no affiliation with the SII or the government of Chile. It reads only publicly available taxpayer situation data. Use it in accordance with the SII terms.
