LinkedIn Timeline Posts Scraper
Extract public timeline posts from LinkedIn user profiles, companies, schools and showcase pages. Export post content, links, publication dates and engagement metrics to CSV, JSON or Excel.
Input
username: LinkedIn slug, numeric ID, or matching public LinkedIn profile/page URL.type:user,company,schoolorshowcase.start: starting offset (number of posts to skip), from 0 to 10000. Use 0 to start at the beginning. Legacy value 1 also starts at the beginning. Values above 1 are offsets, not page numbers.iterations: maximum number of response pages to deliver, 1 to 10. Page size varies, so this is not a fixed number of posts.
{"username":"google","type":"company","start":0,"iterations":1}
Group timelines are no longer supported. Inputs using type=group are rejected before scraping, without a result charge. Pages unavailable to the service may return no results or an explanatory provider error.
Output
The existing output fields remain: type, inputUsername, pageStart, url, timestamp, text_date, datetime, tipo_post, content, likes, comments, views, share, dedupeKey, and scrapedAt.
Engagement values reflect the available source data. Unavailable metrics remain empty or null; they are not inferred. Duplicates are removed by stable post ID before saving. Original author posts and reshared content may both appear in a timeline.
Pagination and reliability
Each completed page is saved immediately. If a later request fails, already saved posts remain available. Transient errors receive bounded retries, while definitive HTTP errors stop without repeated requests. Empty or repeated pages stop pagination.
The meaning of start follows the legacy offset implementation. Pagination page sizes differ from older versions. LinkedIn timelines change over time; repeated independent runs do not provide a transactional continuation guarantee.
Progress and the final functional status are available in the RUN_SUMMARY key-value record. Diagnostic messages are not written as billable result rows.
Pricing
$0.80 per 1,000 saved posts ($0.0008 per result). Duplicates and diagnostic messages are not charged. The run stops when its result charge budget is exhausted.
Responsible use and support
Use public information responsibly and respect applicable privacy requirements and LinkedIn terms. For help, open an issue from the Actor page and include your run ID, without credentials or private data.
