Each response holds one page of items and a cursor. Pass the cursor back as cursor for the next page; it is null on the last page. You are charged per comment returned. Errors return JSON with a message and are never charged; any 5xx status is safe to retry.

Standby runs cost more than normal runs: Apify also bills you for the Actor's platform usage, including the 5 minutes it keeps running after your last request.

Frequently asked questions

Is it legal to scrape TikTok comments?

Comments on public videos can be read without an account. Commenters' names, handles and photos are personal data, protected in the EU by the GDPR and by similar laws elsewhere. Only collect them if you have a lawful reason to, check TikTok's terms of service, and get legal advice for your use case.

Does it include replies?

Each comment has its reply count. The replies themselves are not included yet.
