Field Descriptions

• review_id - Unique Loox review identifier
• author - Reviewer's display name
• verified_purchase - Boolean: whether the purchase is verified
• rating - Star rating (1-5, supports half stars)
• body - Full review text (long reviews included in full)
• images - Array of customer photo URLs
• videos - Array of customer video URLs (Cloudflare Stream)
• product_name - Name of the reviewed product
• product_image - Product thumbnail URL (store-wide runs)
• product_id - Shopify product ID (product runs)
• store_reply - Store owner's response (if any)
• date - When the review was posted, as the store shows it
• date_utc - The same date in ISO 8601 UTC
• source_url - The store or product URL you entered

⚠️ Important Notes

• Only works for stores using Loox as their review platform
• If a store doesn't use Loox, the actor completes successfully with 0 results (won't fail). The status message names the review app the store uses and the scraper for it.
• A product with no reviews yet also completes successfully with 0 results and says so
• Product ID is automatically extracted from Shopify pages. An old product link that the store redirects to another product returns that product's reviews, as shoppers see it.
• Some stores hide review dates. Then date is empty and date_utc is the upload date of the review photo (empty for reviews without photos).
• Very large stores (100,000+ reviews) take a while, because deep pages load slowly. A run that reaches its timeout stops cleanly and keeps every review it collected. Raise the timeout for a full export.

Pricing

Pay per result: $0.80 per 1,000 reviews plus a small Actor start fee ($0.0025 per GB of memory, one event per run). A 5,000-review export costs about $4. Volume users on higher Apify plans pay less per review.

❓ FAQ

Does this work with any Shopify store?

Yes, as long as the store uses Loox for their reviews! If a store uses a different app (like Yotpo or Judge.me), this scraper won't find any data.

Why did I get 0 results?

The run's status message tells you why: the store uses another review app (it names the app and the scraper for it), the store has no Loox reviews, or the product you entered has no reviews yet.

Can I scrape more than 100 reviews?

Absolutely! Just change the maxReviews parameter in your input to whatever number you need. Set to 0 for unlimited.

Is this scraper safe to use?

Yes! We use efficient API calls that mimic normal traffic patterns to ensure reliability and safety.
