Cervera Scraper

Gets product data from Cervera.se, Sweden's specialist retailer for kitchen, table, and homeware. Think Le Creuset, Iittala, and Royal Copenhagen -- the premium Scandinavian kitchen brands.

How it works

Cervera renders its category, brand and campaign listings server-side, 40 products per page, with name, brand, both prices, stock count, image and article number already attached. This scraper reads those listings directly, so there are no detail-page visits and no CSS selectors to break when the site restyles.

Cervera's robots.txt disallows its own /search pages, so this scraper never requests them. A search term is matched against Cervera's category and brand pages instead, taken from Cervera's own sitemap, and the products those pages list are filtered on the term. Searching for kastrull reads the Grytor & Kastruller category and its sub-categories; searching for Le Creuset reads that brand's page.

Input

FieldTypeRequiredDescription
categoryUrlStringNoA category, brand or campaign listing, e.g. https://www.cervera.se/produkter/i-koket/grytor--kastruller or https://www.cervera.se/varumarken/le-creuset
searchQueryStringNoSwedish product word or brand name (default: kastrull). Ignored when categoryUrl is set.
maxResultsIntegerNoDefault 100, maximum 50000
proxyConfigurationObjectNoProxy settings (default: Apify datacenter proxy)

categoryUrl and searchQuery never combine. Set a URL and the search term is ignored, so a category run returns that listing only. A categoryUrls array is also accepted if you prefer to pass several listings in one run.

Output

FieldTypeExample
nameString"Provence Plus Grytset 5 delar Rostfri"
brandString"WMF"
priceNumber1699 (SEK including VAT)
currencyString"SEK"
originalPriceNumber3999, present only when the product is reduced
discountNumber2300, the amount off in SEK
skuStringCervera article number, "581918"
inStockBoolean or nulltrue, false, or null when Cervera states no stock figure
stockCountIntegerUnits on hand, 724
imageUrlStringProduct image URL
urlStringFull product page URL
categoryStringTitle of the listing the product was read from, "Grytor & Kastruller"
scrapedAtStringISO 8601 collection timestamp

Cost

$0.02 per run (start fee, based on its 4 GB memory allocation) plus $0.002 per result — 1,000 products costs about $2.02. Products arrive 40 per page request, so 1,000 products cost 25 requests and finish in well under a minute. A run's usage cost only settles after it reports SUCCEEDED.

Notes

  • Swedish-language content; search terms are Swedish words
  • Prices are in SEK and include Swedish VAT
  • Sale items show price, originalPrice and discount
  • inStock is null when Cervera publishes no stock figure. A missing value is never reported as out of stock.
  • Cervera publishes no product ratings on its listings, so there is no rating field

Tips and tricks

  • Start small: test with maxResults: 5 before running large scrapes.
  • Keep the default proxy: Cervera serves its listings over the cheaper datacenter pool without blocking. Switch to Swedish residential only if you start seeing refusals.
  • Schedule runs: set up recurring runs to keep your data fresh automatically.
  • Integrate via API: use the Apify API or client libraries to fetch results programmatically.
  • No login required: this actor scrapes publicly available data without needing an account.

Limitations

  • Data is scraped from the public website and may change without notice.
  • Some products or listings may not be available in all regions.
  • Very large scraping jobs may be slower due to proxy rotation and rate limiting.
  • Respect the website's terms of service and use responsibly.

Features

  • No login required — scrapes publicly available data from Cervera without needing credentials or cookies.
  • Structured output — results are returned as clean JSON objects, ready for processing.

  • Proxy support — configurable proxy settings for reliable, large-scale scraping.
  • Flexible input — search by keyword, provide specific URLs, or crawl categories.
