Eventbrite Scraper

Scrape event listings from Eventbrite by country, city, or keyword -- no login or API key required.

How to scrape Eventbrite data

  1. Go to the Eventbrite Scraper page on Apify Store.
  2. Click "Try for free" to open the actor in Apify Console.
  3. Set your search -- country (required), and optionally a city and a keyword.
  4. Click "Start" and wait for the run to finish.
  5. Download your data as JSON, CSV, Excel, or connect it to your pipeline via API.

No API key, no login, no cookies needed. Eventbrite has no anti-bot protection, so results come back fast.

Why use this actor?

Event promoters, venue owners, and market researchers need a live read on what's happening in a city or category. This actor extracts structured event data from Eventbrite -- names, dates, venues, addresses, coordinates, price status, category, and organizer info -- ready for competitive scans, local market research, or feeding an events calendar.

Eventbrite covers events across dozens of countries, from small community meetups to large ticketed conferences and festivals.

Input

FieldTypeRequiredDescription
countryStringNoCountry to search (English name, e.g. United Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands). Defaults to United Kingdom.
cityStringNoNarrow results to a specific city (e.g. London, Berlin, Amsterdam). Leave empty to search the whole country.
searchQueryStringNoKeyword to filter events by (e.g. comedy, jazz, business networking). Leave empty to return all upcoming events.
maxResultsIntegerNoMaximum results to return (default: 50). Eventbrite serves 20 events per listing page; each event costs one extra request for price/organizer/category detail.
proxyConfigurationObjectNoProxy settings. Eventbrite has no anti-bot protection, so datacenter proxies work fine -- residential is the default as a courtesy to avoid volume-based rate limiting at scale.

Cost estimate

This actor uses CheerioCrawler (no headless browser). Expect approximately 1-2 compute units per 100 events. At standard Apify pricing, that's roughly $0.05-0.10 per 100 events.

Limitations

  • Eventbrite does not expose an exact numeric ticket price on public pages -- only a free/paid status and currency.
  • A small share of event detail pages (roughly 1 in 15 in testing) don't embed the price/organizer/category JSON block; those events still come back with the core fields (name, date, venue, address, description) but without price/organizer/category.
  • Data is scraped from the public website and may change without notice.
  • Respect Eventbrite's terms of service and use responsibly.

Use cases

  • Local market research -- see what kinds of events are drawing crowds in a city or country.
  • Competitive scans -- track a competitor's or category's event listings over time.
  • Events calendar feeds -- pull structured event data into a website, app, or newsletter.
  • Venue and organizer research -- identify active venues and organizers in a market.
  • Lead generation -- find event organizers and venues to reach out to.
