What is Trouwen.nl Scraper?

Trouwen.nl lists wedding venues and vendors across the Netherlands — trouwlocaties (venues), castles, hotels, restaurants, DJs, photographers, videographers, wedding planners, decorators, and more, organized by city and by category. Every vendor page carries LocalBusiness/Organization JSON-LD structured data, and the site's own search box reads an index with each vendor's address, postal code, website, logo and rating. The actor uses both.

This actor walks a city + category listing page and follows the site's own pagination. For each vendor it reads the vendor page, and when that page does not load it takes the vendor's record from the site's search index. What people build with it:

How to scrape trouwen.nl data

Tips:

• Combine city and category for a focused pull, e.g. city: "utrecht", category: "trouwfotografie" for wedding photographers in Utrecht.
• Pagination is handled automatically — the actor reads the site's own page count and only fetches as many pages as needed to reach maxResults.
• For a nationwide category database, run once per major Dutch city (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Den Haag, Utrecht, Eindhoven...) with a high maxResults.
• Bruiloft.nl listings are the same underlying dataset — no separate run needed.

The actor first collects vendors from listing pages, then makes one to four requests per vendor (the vendor page and, when that page does not load, the search index). Costs scale linearly. Usage cost only settles once a run reports SUCCEEDED.

FAQ

Does this cover Bruiloft.nl too? Yes. Bruiloft.nl is run by the same company on the same underlying vendor database as Trouwen.nl — no separate run needed.

Is phone number always available? Not at the moment. Phone, email and description are only published on the vendor pages, and since September 2026 trouwen.nl's vendor pages redirect in a loop, in a normal browser too. While that lasts, these three fields are empty. The actor tries each vendor page on every run, so they fill in again as soon as trouwen.nl fixes it. Where a number is published but the site renders a placeholder value, the field is left empty rather than filled with junk data.

Are ratings and review counts available? Only for vendors that have received on-platform reviews. The rating and reviewCount fields are included but will be empty for newer or unreviewed listings.

What categories are supported? 20 categories across venues and vendors: trouwlocaties, bruidssuite, kastelen, hotels, restaurants, catering, dj-bruiloft, bruiloft-muziek, trouwfotografie, videograaf, weddingplanner, trouwambtenaar, decoratie, bruidsboeket, trouwauto, entertainment, foodtrucks, partyverhuur, photobooth, and notaris.

Limitations

• Since September 2026 every trouwen.nl vendor page (/contact/...) redirects in a loop, in a normal browser too. Name, address, postal code, city, website, rating, image and category come from the site's search index instead. Phone, email and description are empty until trouwen.nl fixes the vendor pages. The run log says how many vendors came from each source.
• A few vendors (about 1 in 15 in our tests) are not in the search index. For those, the record has the name, city, image and URL from the listing page, and an empty address and postal code.
• Not every listing has a phone number, email, website, or review data — this directory relies on vendors to fill in optional fields.
• Some nationwide vendors (e.g. boat rental companies serving the whole country) list city as a region name rather than a specific address, leaving address/postalCode empty — this is a real gap in the source data, not a parsing error.
• Descriptions are short, vendor-written profile text, not long-form editorial copy.
