- New
edition input. The Gazette is published in three editions, each
covering its own jurisdiction, and you can now read one of them alone:
london (England & Wales), edinburgh (Scotland), belfast (Northern
Ireland), or all (the default, unchanged). Probed live 2026-08-30: the feed
answers ?edition=london with a 303 to /insolvency/london/notice/data.json,
so the path segment is the real interface, and the three editions partition
the feed exactly (winding-up petitions: 185,246 UK-wide = 164,773 London +
15,538 Edinburgh + 4,935 Belfast). An unknown edition is ignored rather than
put in the URL, where it would answer 200 with zero results.
- Notice codes are re-checked before charging. The Gazette does honour its
own
noticetypes parameter — probed live 2026-08-30, noticetypes=2450
returned 50 of 50 rows with code 2450, and 2450,2452 returned only those two
codes, contradicting the "the source ignores its own notice-code parameter"
claim a rival actor documents. The actor now re-applies the filter itself
anyway, before the detail fetch and before any charge: a filter we sell is
never left to the origin's good behaviour, and any notice outside the
requested categories is dropped and counted in the run's status message.
- Every run now ends with a status message built by a pure function from
explicit counters. A Gazette that never answered, a genuinely quiet window,
filters that kept nothing and a monitor run with nothing new are four
different messages instead of one. List pages the feed refused, notices
delivered without their structured detail, and notices the dataset refused are
each counted and named, so a short window is never silently short.
- README: the inputs are documented one by one for the first time, with the new
edition filter and an Edinburgh-only example.
- Joint insolvency practitioners are no longer dropped. When two office-holders
are appointed together, the Gazette publishes both names in one field, and
the actor now returns both ("Robert Neil Dymond; Joanne Louise Hammond")
instead of the first only. The same applies to practitioner addresses.
- Fixed a crash on those notices. A run that met a joint appointment stopped
there and was marked failed, losing the notices that came after it. Roughly a
quarter of live notices carry the shape that triggered it.
- A notice that cannot be stored for any other reason is now skipped with a
warning instead of ending the run, and is reported again on the next run.
UK insolvency monitor built on The Gazette's official notice feed. Tracks company
winding-up petitions and orders, administrations, liquidations, notices to
creditors, dividend and meeting notices, personal bankruptcy orders and trustee
appointments. Each notice comes back with the Companies House number, registered
address and acting practitioner where published. Includes a keyword watchlist,
a look-back window, and a monitor mode that alerts on only-new notices with an
optional Slack digest.
