RE

Limit for each id?

Closed

I set multiple ids and each id has more than 100 reviews. Then i set the limit to 100. The result shows the limit for total reviews in single request, not total reviews of each id. Example attached.

Can you make it like this scraper? It gives the result that limit is total reviews for each place https://apify.com/compass/google-maps-reviews-scraper/input-schema

Second question, is it possible to get result from the latest/newest?

Hello,

So sorry for getting back this late, there was an issue with our integration and we could only see your issue now.

I redirected this to our engineering team and will let you know ASAP when I get a response

Hello,

Seems like this issue is related to another actor. This is Google Play Reviews Scraper, not google maps review scraper.

Hi, I think your actor has the issue because this behavior is common for actors in Apify. I use several actors and they have the same behavior for bulk input. Also actors created by Apify like this Facebook reviews scraper show this behavior https://apify.com/apify/facebook-reviews-scraper

If you meant that I confused the actor in this question, no. I wrote the Google Play Reviews scraper above as the correct example.

Please check again the run I attached in the initial discussion. Or you can also check it here https://console.apify.com/organization/WmjZYja9mw54WbZpW/actors/tasks/Vfot6LBLtPP2JeKxB/runs/BUR6UbsBQ6HjK7arJ#output

Maybe I will try to re-elaborate the issue. Please check this run https://console.apify.com/organization/WmjZYja9mw54WbZpW/actors/runs/foHclHkpjK4nKl9RB#output

I was trying to get the reviews of 3 different google play store apps. I set 50 as the maximum reviews. Based on my experience using actors with bulk input in Apify, this run should give me 50 reviews from each apps. But instead your actor only gives 50 reviews from one app and it seems the 50 is to be the total result.

Hello,

Yes you are correct, 50 is the limit per run not per item. You need to create separate runs to get 50 from each of them.

Cheers

Hi, Is it possible for you to add sorting option? The results seem to be not fully in date order. Sometimes the older reviews show before the new ones.
