See what any website is built with. Paste a list of URLs and get every detected technology: CMS, e-commerce platform, JavaScript frameworks, analytics and tag managers, CDN and hosting, payment providers, marketing and consent tools, with version numbers where the site reveals them.

  • ✅ 7,600+ technologies from the open Wappalyzer-format fingerprint database (webappanalyzer), refreshed with every build
  • ✅ Real browser: runs the page in Chromium, so JavaScript frameworks and tags that load dynamically are found too
  • ✅ Versions and confidence for each technology, grouped by category
  • ✅ Bulk lists: hundreds of sites per run, 3 in parallel
  • ✅ Fair billing: sites that fail, time out, block bots or are excluded by robots.txt are free

What can you use it for?

  • Sales prospecting: find shops running Shopify, sites using a competitor's tool, or companies without analytics
  • Market research: count CMS or framework market share in a list of websites
  • Agencies: audit a client's stack before a pitch or a migration
  • Security and IT: spot outdated library versions across your own sites

Input example

{ "urls": ["https://wordpress.org", "https://www.allbirds.com", "https://vercel.com"], "minConfidence": 50 }

Output example

Real output for wordpress.org (technology details shortened to three of fourteen):

{
"url": "https://wordpress.org/",
"finalUrl": "https://wordpress.org/",
"statusCode": 200,
"title": "Blog Tool, Publishing Platform, and CMS – WordPress.org",
"technologyCount": 14,
"technologies": [
{ "name": "WordPress", "version": "7.2", "confidence": 100, "categories": ["CMS", "Blogs"], "website": "https://wordpress.org", "implied": false },
{ "name": "PHP", "version": null, "confidence": 100, "categories": ["Programming languages"], "website": "https://php.net", "implied": false },
{ "name": "Nginx", "version": null, "confidence": 100, "categories": ["Web servers", "Reverse proxies"], "website": "https://nginx.org/en", "implied": false }

"analyzedAt": "2026-10-20T21:10:15.500Z"
}

Other results from the same test: allbirds.com showed Shopify, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, OneTrust, Cloudflare and 18 more; vercel.com showed Next.js 16.5.0-canary.18, React, Vercel Analytics and Sentry. implied: true means the technology was inferred from another one (WordPress implies PHP and MySQL). A summary per URL is saved as OUTPUT in the key-value store.

Pricing

A fixed price per analyzed website. Failed pages are free. In our tests 7 sites took about 70 seconds.

Paid Apify plans pay less: 10% off on Starter, 20% on Scale and 30% on Business and higher plans.

FAQ

How accurate is it? It finds what the page exposes: HTML, scripts, headers, cookies, meta tags and JavaScript globals. Server-side tools that leave no trace (for example a database behind an API) cannot be seen by anyone from the outside.

Why did a site fail? Some sites block automated browsers or time out; others forbid automated access in robots.txt. Both are shown in OUTPUT and not charged.

Where does the technology list come from? From the open-source webappanalyzer project (GPL-3.0), which continues the Wappalyzer fingerprint format. The Actor downloads the latest version when it is built.
