What does this scraper do?

This Actor scrapes business listings from Yellow Pages (yellowpages.com) for any business type and US location.

For each business you get the name, address, phone number, website URL, star rating, review count, and year founded — plus, uniquely, a contact email address automatically extracted from the business website.

This is the only Yellow Pages scraper on Apify that reliably extracts email addresses.

Limitations

• Yellow Pages only covers US businesses. For other countries, see our Google Maps scrapers.
• Email extraction success rate: 35–55% of businesses depending on industry. Restaurants and retail tend to be lower; professional services (law, accounting, plumbing) are higher.
• Yellow Pages occasionally updates its page layout, which can affect scraper reliability. We monitor and push updates to keep it working.
• Proxy note: Residential proxies are used automatically to avoid rate limiting.
