🏨 Google Hotels Price Tracker - Prices From Every Booking Site (No Login)

Google Hotels prices for any city and dates: lowest nightly rate, stars, rating, photos, plus every booking site's price, room offers and a price calendar.

Use it as a hotel price tracker for any city, "City, Country" or coordinates: up to 140 hotels per search, the price on each booking site for every hotel, and a nightly price calendar up to a year ahead. Scheduled runs build your own Google Hotels price history.

⚡ Why This Actor?

Enter a city (or coordinates) and your dates, get back every hotel Google Hotels shows: name, star class, guest rating, review count, location, photos and the lowest nightly price. Switch on details and each hotel row also carries the price from every booking site Google lists (Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Agoda, the hotel's own website and more), the room offers with their own prices and free-cancellation dates, the address, phone, official website, check-in and check-out times, the full amenities list, review topics and ratings from other travel sites. Switch on the price calendar and you also get the nightly price for each date over the next month, three months, six months or year. One row per hotel, ready for spreadsheets and price trackers. No login, no browser, no proxies to manage.

This Actor returns prices exactly as Google shows them for your dates at the moment of the run. It does not book rooms, it does not check live availability on the booking sites, and it does not return individual guest reviews or reviewer names.

🎯 Use Cases

  • Hotel price tracking - Run on a schedule for the same city and dates to see how nightly rates move as the stay gets closer.
  • Revenue management - Hotel owners compare their own rate with nearby competitors of the same star class.
  • Booking-site comparison - See which site (Booking.com, Expedia, the hotel's own site) offers the lowest price for the same hotel and dates.
  • Travel agency quoting - Build shortlists of hotels by stars, rating, price range, amenities and free cancellation for a client's trip.
  • Market research - Measure average prices, star mix and supply in a city or neighborhood for investment or launch decisions.
  • Travel content and deals - Find the cheapest dates in a month with the price calendar for deal newsletters and travel guides.
  • Event planning - Check prices and room offers around conference or festival dates for group travel budgets.
  • Hotel rate shopping tool - Revenue managers pull competitor rates by star class and booking site, then set their own price (see section K of the Actor-Specific Addendum on using competitor prices lawfully).
  • Hotel price history - Schedule the same search and keep each run's dataset to build your own price history for a city, a neighborhood or one hotel.
  • Google Hotels API alternative - Pull Google Hotels results into your app, spreadsheet or BI tool through the Apify API, with no Google account and no partner access.

Status rows. Besides hotel rows, the dataset can contain short info and error rows that explain what happened (for example, a location that could not be found, a search with no hotels, or a per-location summary). They have status "info" or "error", an error object with type and message, and charged: false. They are never charged.

💰 Pricing

Pay-per-event model on Apify. You pay only for hotel rows written to your dataset; info and error rows are free.

EventPrice
Actor start$0.02 per run
Hotel row$1.49 per 1,000 hotels ($0.00149 each)
Booking-site details (with includeDetails)$3.99 per 1,000 hotels ($0.00399 each), only for hotels with at least one booking-site price
Price calendar (with includePriceCalendar)$3.49 per 1,000 hotels ($0.00349 each)

Your "Maximum cost per run" setting is always respected: the Actor never starts a search or a details lookup it cannot finish within that budget.

Free plan: Free Apify users receive up to 5 results per run. Upgrade to any paid Apify plan to remove this limit. This limit was set by the Actor developer, not by Apify.

Free plan limit

Free Apify users get up to 5 results per run. Paying users are not affected and receive results normally.

This limit was set by the Actor developer, not by Apify. To remove it and receive unlimited results, upgrade to any paid Apify plan: https://apify.com/pricing

When a free plan run hits the cap, the Actor finishes successfully (status SUCCEEDED) and the run's status message explains what happened. No error is raised, so the first 5 results are fully usable as normal.

❓ FAQ

Q: Is this legal? A: This Actor wraps DataForSEO endpoints that handle the underlying data collection of public Google Hotels listings and prices. Your downstream use of the data is your responsibility - see the full Terms of Service and the Actor-Specific Addendum for details.

Q: Do I need a DataForSEO account? A: No. UnseenUser holds the DataForSEO credentials. You only need an Apify account.

Q: What about Google's anti-scraping enforcement? A: Google's Terms restrict automated access to its services. DataForSEO handles the data collection - it bears the responsibility for its architecture's lawfulness. Your downstream use must comply with Google's Terms.

Q: What if Google sends a cease-and-desist? A: Notify UnseenUser within 48 hours via the Apify profile contact form (apify.com/UnseenUser) and cease using this Actor immediately.

Q: Can I use this data to train AI? A: Not the creative parts. Hotel photos, descriptions and highlights belong to the hotels, Google or their licensors, and Google's Terms restrict reuse of its content. Prices, star classes and ratings are factual data, but bulk reuse for model training is still your own legal exposure. See the Actor-Specific Addendum.

Q: What about minors? A: Children's ages are only an input that shapes the price Google shows for your room. The output contains no data about children or any other private person: no guest names, no reviewer names, no review texts.

Q: Why is the price different on the booking site? A: Prices are what Google Hotels shows for your dates, guests and currency at the moment of the run. Booking sites change rates often, may add taxes or fees at checkout, and may show member-only rates. Treat each row as a snapshot, not a quote.

Q: How do I track prices over time? A: Save your input as an Apify task and schedule it with the same locations and dates. Each run writes a new dataset with scrapedAt, so you can compare runs in a spreadsheet or database.

Q: What does "sponsored" mean? A: Google marks some hotels and some booking-site offers as paid placements. They are kept in the results, in Google's order, and flagged with isSponsored: true so you can filter them yourself.

Q: Do the booking links work? A: Yes. Organic offers link straight to the booking site. Sponsored offers use Google's ad redirect link (google.com/aclk?...), which forwards to the booking site, the same way a click on Google does.

Q: Why did I get fewer hotels than I asked for? A: Google returns at most 140 hotels per search and sometimes fewer, especially with strict filters (stars, price range, amenities, free cancellation). The same hotel can also appear twice in Google's list; each hotel is returned once, and you are never charged for the repeat. The per-location summary row tells you how many were found.

Q: How far ahead does the price calendar go? A: From your check-in date for the range you choose: one month, three months, six months or one year. In our tests, "month" returned 43 nightly prices. Some dates can be missing if Google has no price for them.

Q: Why are details empty for some hotels? A: Small properties and hostels sometimes have no booking-site prices on Google for your dates. The row still contains everything else the source returned (address, phone, amenities and so on), bookingOffers is an empty list, and the details charge is not applied for that hotel.

Q: Is there a free plan limit? A: Yes. Free Apify users receive up to 5 results per run. Upgrade to any paid Apify plan to remove this limit. This limit was set by the Actor developer, not by Apify.

Q: Is there a Google Hotels API? A: Google does not offer a public API that returns Google Hotels search results and prices; its hotel APIs are for hotels and booking partners that advertise on Google. This Actor works as a Google Hotels API for prices: call it through the Apify API with a city and dates and get one JSON row per hotel.

Q: Can I use it as a hotel rate shopping tool? A: Yes. Search your city with your own star class and dates, switch on booking-site prices, and schedule it. Each row shows what every booking site charges for that hotel and dates. Use competitor prices for your own pricing only (see section K of the Actor-Specific Addendum).

Q: Can I get Google hotel price alerts? A: The Actor does not send alerts itself. Schedule it, then connect an Apify integration (Slack, email, Zapier, Make or a webhook) that checks the new dataset, for example when lowestPrice for a hotel drops below your target.

Q: Can I get hotel price history? A: Google Hotels shows current prices only. Schedule the same search and keep each run's dataset: every row has scrapedAt, so the runs together are your price history. The price calendar adds the nightly prices Google shows today for the dates ahead.

Q: Is lowestPrice the total price? A: No. It is a price per night, as Google Hotels shows it in the hotel list for your dates, guests and currency, not the total for the stay. It is its own figure: it can differ from the nightly prices in priceCalendar and from the individual booking-site prices in bookingOffers.

Q: How can I compare hotel prices across booking sites? A: Switch on "Add booking-site prices and hotel details". Each hotel row then lists every booking site Google shows for your dates (up to about 40 per hotel) in bookingOffers, with its price, free-cancellation date and room offers, and flags the hotel's official site (isOfficialSite) and paid placements (isSponsored). Export to Excel or Google Sheets and compare side by side.

Q: Can I track one hotel's price on Booking.com, Expedia and other sites at the same time? A: Yes. Search the hotel's city with the same dates, switch on booking-site prices and schedule the run. Every run returns each site's current price for that hotel, so you can follow all of them over time. Use the hotel's hotelId to pick it out of each run. The hotel has to be among the hotels the search returns, so keep the filters wide enough for it (or raise "Max hotels per search").

Q: Can I find the cheapest dates for a hotel? A: Yes. Switch on the price calendar and pick a range (1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year from check-in). priceCalendar lists the price for each night Google shows a price for, so you can sort it and see the cheapest nights for every hotel in the search.

Q: How fresh are the prices, and how often can I update them? A: Every run fetches the prices Google Hotels shows at that moment; nothing is cached. Runs can be scheduled, and each run writes a new dataset with scrapedAt.

Q: How do I get the data from Python or another language? A: Call this Actor through the Apify API or the official client libraries. A Python example with the Apify client:

from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient("<YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("unseenuser/google-hotels-prices").call(run_input={
"locations": ["Paris, France"],
"checkIn": "2026-12-10",
"checkOut": "2026-12-12",
"currency": "EUR",
})
for row in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
if row["status"] == "ok":
print(row["name"], row["lowestPrice"], row["currency"])

Q: Can I send the data to my revenue management system or PMS? A: There is no built-in connector to a specific revenue management system or PMS. Send each run's JSON or CSV to it through the Apify API, a webhook, or an integration such as Make, Zapier or Google Sheets.

🔧 How it works

  • Live data: every run asks Google Hotels at that moment, for your dates, guests and currency. Nothing is served from a cache.
  • No login, no cookies, no browser and no proxies to set up.
  • Typical speed (launch tests, Oct 29, 2026): 20 hotels in about 15 seconds, 140 hotels in about 55 seconds, booking-site prices and details for 140 hotels in about 2.5 minutes.
  • What ends a run: every location is searched; or the free plan limit (5 results) is reached; or your "Maximum cost per run" is reached. A location that cannot be found or a temporary data source problem gets a free info or error row, and the other locations still run.
  • Automatic retries on temporary errors
  • Limits: up to 140 hotels per search, stays of up to 30 nights, up to 6 guests, child ages 0 to 17, check-in today or later.
  • Output: one dataset row per hotel plus a free summary row per location. Export as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read it through the Apify API.

Apify Actor - Terms of Service

Version: 4.0 Effective Date: May 5, 2026

0. ACCEPTANCE BY USE - IMPORTANT

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding legal agreement between you ("User," "you," "your") and UnseenUser, the Publisher of this Apify actor ("UnseenUser," "the Publisher," "we," "us," "our").

0.1 How You Accept These Terms

You accept these Terms by any of the following actions, each of which constitutes a clear, affirmative act of acceptance:

  • (a) Running the Actor - Initiating any execution of the Actor on the Apify platform
  • (b) Using any output returned by the Actor for any purpose
  • (c) Continuing to access the Actor's listing or documentation after these Terms are visible

0.2 Continuing Acceptance

Each time you run the Actor or use its outputs, you reaffirm your acceptance of the then-current Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms or any subsequent update, you must stop using the Actor immediately.

0.3 No Anonymous Acceptance

You cannot disclaim acceptance by:

  • Failing to read these Terms before running the Actor
  • Running the Actor through automated systems
  • Sharing your Apify account with others who may not have read these Terms

By the act of running the Actor on Apify, you bind yourself, your organization (if applicable), and any individuals or systems acting on your behalf or under your authority.

0.4 If You Do Not Accept

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not run the Actor. No use is authorized without acceptance.

PREAMBLE - UNDERSTANDING THE ARCHITECTURE

Before using the Actor, please understand the technical architecture of the service:

The Data Flow

You (User) → Apify Platform → Actor (software) → Third-Party API → Source Platform
↓
You (User) ← Apify Platform ← Actor (software) ← Third-Party API

What Each Party Does

  • You (the User): Run the Actor on the Apify platform with input parameters you choose
  • Apify: Operates the cloud infrastructure that hosts and executes Actors. Apify is a Czech-incorporated company (Apify Technologies s.r.o.) governed by its own Terms of Service.
  • The Publisher (us): Publishes software code (the Actor) on Apify's platform. The Actor is a thin wrapper that translates your input into requests to a third-party API and returns the API's responses to you. The Publisher does not operate scraping infrastructure. The Publisher does not store or retain data returned by the Actor. Because requests are made under the Publisher's provider accounts, copies of results may remain in those accounts as described in the Data Retention section of the Addendum. The Publisher does not access these copies except where needed to troubleshoot a run at the User's request. The Publisher does not see, log, or process the personal data of any individuals returned in the Actor's outputs beyond what is incidental to passing the data through.
  • Third-Party API Provider: DataForSEO (https://dataforseo.com). This is an independent third-party company that operates data infrastructure that retrieves publicly available hotel listings and prices from search engines and returns them as structured data.
  • Source Platform: Google (Google Hotels public listings and prices). This is the platform whose publicly visible data is accessed by the Third-Party API Provider.

Why This Matters

Your relationship with the Publisher is that of a software user to a software vendor. The Publisher has the responsibilities of a software vendor (functional code, accurate documentation) and the limits of one (the Publisher is not responsible for how you use the data you obtain).

These Terms operate alongside but do not replace:

  • Apify's Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy (governing your relationship with Apify)
  • DataForSEO Terms of Service (governing the underlying data infrastructure)
  • Source Platform terms (Google, for Google Hotels public listings and prices) governing the public data accessed
  • Applicable law in your jurisdiction and the jurisdictions of data subjects

These Terms incorporate the actor-specific addendum published in each Actor's individual listing ("Addendum"). In the event of a conflict, the more restrictive provision applies.

1. NATURE OF THE SERVICE

1.1 What the Actor Is

The Actor is a software program published on the Apify platform. Each Actor:

  • (a) Accepts structured input from you on the Apify platform
  • (b) Translates that input into HTTP requests to a third-party API operated by DataForSEO
  • (c) Receives HTTP responses from that third-party API
  • (d) Returns the response data to you in a structured format on the Apify platform

The Actor's source code is hosted on Apify's infrastructure. The Actor runs in Apify's cloud, not on the Publisher's servers. The Publisher operates no servers running the Actor.

1.2 What the Actor Is Not

The Actor is not:

  • (a) A scraping tool - the Publisher does not operate scraping infrastructure, proxies, headless browsers, or fake accounts
  • (b) A direct connection to any source platform - connections to source platforms are made by DataForSEO
  • (c) A data storage or data retention service - the Publisher does not maintain a database of any data the Actor returns. Because requests are made under the Publisher's provider accounts, copies of results may remain in those accounts as described in the Data Retention section of the Addendum. The Publisher does not access these copies except where needed to troubleshoot a run at the User's request.
  • (d) A licensed access channel to Google (including Google Hotels) or any other source platform
  • (e) Affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorized by any source platform

1.3 The Publisher's Limited Role

The Publisher's role is limited to:

  • (a) Designing and writing the Actor's source code
  • (b) Publishing the Actor on the Apify Store
  • (c) Maintaining the Actor (updating it when API providers change schemas)
  • (d) Providing documentation and customer support via Apify's contact mechanism

The Publisher is a software vendor, similar to a developer who publishes an app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The Publisher is not a data provider, data broker, data processor, or data controller for purposes of GDPR, CCPA, Israel's Privacy Protection Law, or equivalent.

1.4 The Third-Party API Provider's Role

DataForSEO (https://dataforseo.com) is an independent third-party company. It:

  • (a) Operates the data infrastructure that retrieves publicly available hotel listings and prices
  • (b) Maintains its own data sources and collection methods
  • (c) Provides its own Terms of Service governing its operations
  • (d) Is responsible for compliance obligations relating to the data collection itself

The Publisher is a customer of this provider. The Publisher is not its agent, partner, or representative.

4.1 Illegal Activity

Activity illegal under the law of your jurisdiction, the User's jurisdiction, or the jurisdiction of any data subjects.

4.2 Harassment, Stalking, and Personal Targeting

  • Compiling profiles for harassment, stalking, or doxxing
  • Tracking individuals' movements or activities without their knowledge
  • Building profiles of journalists, activists, dissidents, or vulnerable populations for retaliatory purposes

4.3 Discrimination

  • Using outputs for discriminatory employment, lending, housing, or insurance decisions based on protected characteristics
  • Building lists for discriminatory purposes

4.4 Spam and Unsolicited Commercial Communication

  • Sending unsolicited marketing in violation of CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, PECR, Israeli Anti-Spam Law (סעיף 30א לחוק התקשורת), or equivalent laws

  • Failing to honor data subject access, deletion, or objection requests
  • Processing data for purposes incompatible with its publication context

5. SOURCE PLATFORM TERMS - YOUR RESPONSIBILITY

5.1 Acknowledgment

The Actor accesses publicly visible data on third-party platforms ("Source Platforms") through the Third-Party API Provider (DataForSEO). Source Platforms include Google (Google Hotels public listings and prices).

5.2 Your Sole Responsibility

You acknowledge:

  • (a) You are solely responsible for ensuring your downstream use of data obtained through the Actor complies with the Source Platform's Terms of Service
  • (b) The Publisher makes no representation that any specific use is permitted under any Source Platform's terms
  • (c) The Third-Party API Provider, not the Publisher, bears responsibility for the lawfulness of the data collection itself
  • (d) You should review Source Platform terms before commercial use:

5.3 Cease-and-Desist Compliance

If you receive a cease-and-desist letter or other legal demand from a Source Platform regarding your use of Actor outputs, you must:

  • (a) Cease the contested use immediately
  • (b) Notify UnseenUser within 48 hours via UnseenUser's Apify profile contact form (https://apify.com/UnseenUser)
  • (c) Cooperate with the Publisher as needed to mitigate
  • (d) Not assert against the Publisher any claim arising from your inability to use the Actor for that Source Platform

6. DATA PROTECTION - REFLECTING ACTUAL ARCHITECTURE

6.1 Roles Under Privacy Law

For purposes of GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, Israel's Privacy Protection Law (PPL) including Amendment 13, and equivalents:

  • You (the User) are the Data Controller of any personal data you obtain through the Actor and subsequently process for your own purposes
  • DataForSEO is the entity that collects data from the source platform (Google) - it bears the responsibilities of a data processor or controller (depending on context) for the collection itself
  • The Publisher acts solely as a software vendor, not as a data controller or processor, because the Publisher does not store, retain, or substantively process personal data - the Actor merely passes API responses through. Because requests are made under the Publisher's provider accounts, copies of results may remain in those accounts as described in the Data Retention section of the Addendum. The Publisher does not access these copies except where needed to troubleshoot a run at the User's request.

6.2 No Data Retention by the Publisher

The Publisher confirms:

  • (a) The Publisher does not maintain a database of personal data obtained through the Actor. Because requests are made under the Publisher's provider accounts, copies of results may remain in those accounts as described in the Data Retention section of the Addendum. The Publisher does not access these copies except where needed to troubleshoot a run at the User's request.
  • (b) The Actor passes data from the Third-Party API directly to you on the Apify platform - data does not flow through the Publisher's infrastructure
  • (c) Apify's standard execution and operational logging may include limited information about Actor runs (input parameters, run duration, data volume) - this is governed by Apify's own privacy practices
  • (d) The Publisher does not access, view, or analyze your Actor outputs except as needed for technical support if you specifically share them with the Publisher

6.3 Your Obligations as Data Controller

Where your use of the Actor involves processing personal data, you are responsible for:

  • (a) Establishing a lawful basis for your processing (consent, legitimate interest with documented balancing test, contract, etc.)
  • (b) Providing transparent notice to data subjects as required by applicable law
  • (c) Honoring data subject access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and portability requests
  • (d) Implementing appropriate security measures
  • (e) Conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments where required
  • (f) Appointing a Data Protection Officer if your operations require one
  • (g) Registering databases with applicable supervisory authorities
  • (h) Honoring opt-out requests for direct marketing
  • (i) Cross-border transfer safeguards where data crosses borders

6.4 Israel's Amendment 13 - User Compliance

If your use of the Actor involves Israeli residents' personal data, you must comply with the Privacy Protection Law as amended (Amendment 13, effective August 14, 2025). These obligations are yours as the data controller, not the Publisher's as the software vendor.

6.5 Sensitive Data Targeting Restrictions

You will not use the Actor to specifically target, profile, or build datasets focused on:

  • Health or medical conditions
  • Religious beliefs
  • Political opinions
  • Sexual orientation or gender identity
  • Genetic or biometric data
  • Criminal history
  • Children under 16

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

7.1 Actor Code

The Actor's source code, schemas, documentation, and branding are owned by the Publisher. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Actor for permitted purposes during your active subscription/run with Apify.

7.2 Output Data

The Publisher claims no ownership over the public data the Actor returns. Source Platforms may have copyright, database rights, or other rights in their data; data subjects may have copyright in user-generated content. Your use of output data must respect these rights independently.

7.3 Restrictions

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or reuse the Actor's code in a competing actor.

7.4 Feedback

Feedback you provide may be used by the Publisher to improve products without compensation to you.

8. PRICING AND PAYMENT

8.1 Apify Platform Billing

Pricing is administered through Apify's pricing models. Apify processes all payments. Apify's payment terms govern refunds and disputes.

8.2 Pricing Changes

The Publisher may change Actor pricing with at least 14 days' notice via the Actor's Apify listing.

8.3 No Refunds for Misuse

If your access is suspended or terminated for breach of these Terms, you forfeit any unused balance and are not entitled to refunds.

9. SERVICE AVAILABILITY AND CHANGES

9.1 No Uptime Guarantee

The Actor depends on:

  • (a) The Apify platform
  • (b) The underlying API provider (DataForSEO)
  • (c) Source Platforms' continued public accessibility

Any of these may change behavior, restrict access, or become unavailable without notice. The Publisher makes no uptime guarantees.

9.2 Service Discontinuation

The Publisher may discontinue any Actor at any time. Reasonable notice will be provided when feasible.

10. DISCLAIMERS

10.1 "AS IS" Service

THE ACTOR IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF DATA.

11.2 Excluded Damages

THE PUBLISHER IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

11.3 Time Limit

Any claim must be brought within one (1) year of the event.

12. INDEMNIFICATION

  • Claims arising from your violation of these Terms
  • Claims arising from your violation of any law (including privacy law)
  • Claims arising from your violation of any Source Platform's Terms of Service

  • Reasonable attorneys' fees and costs of defending such claims

12.2 Defense

The Publisher may assume defense at your expense. You will cooperate with the Publisher's defense.

12.3 Scope

The indemnification covers reasonable, foreseeable third-party claims arising from your use. It does not extend to:

  • Claims arising from the Publisher's gross negligence or willful misconduct
  • Claims regarding the Actor's source code itself (those are the Publisher's responsibility)
  • Claims regarding the Third-Party API Provider's data collection (those are their responsibility)

13. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

13.1 Termination by the Publisher

🛡️ Actor-Specific ToS Addendum - 🏨 Google Hotels Prices

This addendum supplements the Master Terms of Service V4.0. By running this Actor, you accept both the Master ToS and this addendum.

A. Architectural Disclosure

This Actor is a software wrapper. It accepts your input parameters, calls TWO DataForSEO endpoints in sequence (the Google Hotels search endpoint and, only when you switch on details, the hotel details endpoint), combines the results into one structured row per hotel, and returns the combined data to you on the Apify platform. UnseenUser does not store, log, or substantively process the data returned. Because requests are made under UnseenUser's DataForSEO account, copies of results may remain in that account as described in the Data Retention section below. UnseenUser does not access these copies except where needed to troubleshoot a run at the User's request. The data flows from DataForSEO through Apify's runtime directly to you.

Data Retention

DataForSEO: Requests are made through the Publisher's DataForSEO account using its standard (queued) method. According to DataForSEO's help center, results of these tasks are kept for 30 days and can be retrieved again with the task ID during that period (https://dataforseo.com/help-center/how-long-do-you-keep-results). DataForSEO does not publish a separate retention period for its request, usage or billing records. The Publisher does not access these stored results except where needed to troubleshoot a run at the User's request.

B. Nature of Data Returned

This Actor returns: for every hotel Google Hotels shows for a location and dates, the hotel's Google identifier, name, star class, guest rating, review count, latitude and longitude, lowest nightly price (with the discount text and pre-discount price when Google shows them), a sponsored flag, photo URLs and a Google Hotels link built from the hotel's identifier. With details switched on, each row also carries the business address, the business phone number, the official website, check-in and check-out times, the hotel's description and highlights, the amenities list, aggregated review topics (topic name with positive, negative and total counts), aggregated ratings from other travel sites (site name, score, scale, vote count), and the price from every booking site Google lists, with room offers, guest capacity and free-cancellation dates. With the price calendar switched on, each row carries the nightly price for each date in the chosen range. The Actor does NOT return guest reviews, review texts, reviewer names or photos of reviewers, guest lists, or booking or availability confirmations from any booking site. Children's ages are only an input that shapes the price and never appear as data about a person.

Where the Actor's output includes individual people's names, photos, contact details, or content authored by them, that data constitutes personal data subject to GDPR, CCPA, Israeli Privacy Protection Law (including Amendment 13), and equivalent privacy laws in your downstream processing - but only in your hands as the data controller, not in UnseenUser's hands as the software vendor.

C. Permitted Use Cases

You may use this Actor for the following purposes (non-exhaustive list):

  • Hotel price tracking - Run on a schedule for the same city and dates to see how nightly rates move as the stay gets closer.
  • Revenue management - Hotel owners compare their own rate with nearby competitors of the same star class, every day.

D. Specifically Prohibited Uses

In addition to Master ToS Section 4 prohibitions, you may NOT:

  • Rebuild Google Hotels or a booking-site comparison service from this data and present it as your own live price engine (Master ToS 4.6 and 4.7)
  • Republish hotel photos, descriptions or highlights in bulk on your own website, app or listing service without a license from the rights holders
  • Present a price from this Actor to consumers as a guaranteed or bookable rate, or advertise "lowest price" claims based on it without checking the live rate on the booking site
  • Use the data to coordinate prices with competing hotels, or feed shared competitor prices into a common pricing tool used by several competitors (see Section K)
  • Use phone numbers or addresses from this Actor for unsolicited marketing calls, texts or emails in violation of anti-spam or telemarketing law (including Israeli Anti-Spam Law, TCPA, CAN-SPAM, GDPR and PECR)
  • Map, profile or contact private hosts of vacation rentals, or use rental locations to find or watch where private individuals live (see Section I)
  • Resell raw rows as a hotel-price data feed or API without your own added analysis
  • Use the sponsored flag or booking-site redirect links to generate fake clicks, inflate ad spend or interfere with Google's advertising systems

E. Platform Terms of Service Considerations

Google's Terms of Service restrict automated access to Google services and the reuse of Google's content outside Google's products. Google Hotels shows prices supplied by hotels and booking partners under Google's own agreements with them, and some listings and offers are paid placements. This Actor accesses publicly visible Google Hotels data via the Third-Party API Provider - the Third-Party API Provider bears responsibility for the lawfulness of the data collection. Your downstream use must independently comply with Google's Terms of Service, and where you click through or rely on booking-site prices, with that booking site's terms.

If Google issues a cease-and-desist regarding data obtained via this Actor, notify UnseenUser within 48 hours via the Apify profile contact form (apify.com/UnseenUser) and cease your use immediately.

F. Combined-Endpoint Data Sensitivity

This Actor combines a hotel search with optional per-hotel details in one run. The combination yields a richer record than either part alone:

  • Search alone: low sensitivity (hotel names, star class, aggregate ratings, public lowest price, coordinates of businesses)
  • Details alone: low to medium sensitivity (business phone, address, official website, booking-site offers; for small properties and rentals the phone and address may belong to a private individual)
  • Combined: a structured market dataset of every property in an area with prices across all booking sites, room offers and a nightly price calendar

This combined view is a commercial asset in itself and is exactly the kind of dataset Google and booking platforms protect. Use the combined output thoughtfully:

  • Don't sell the combined dataset as a product
  • Don't build a "Google Hotels replacement" with this data
  • Use it for your own internal research, pricing and planning

G. Prices Are a Snapshot - NOT a Booking Quote

Every price in this Actor's output is what Google Hotels showed for the requested dates, guests, currency and language at the moment of the run. It is NOT:

  • A guaranteed or bookable rate
  • A confirmation that a room is available
  • The final amount a guest pays (booking sites may add taxes, resort fees or service fees at checkout, show member-only rates, or round differently)
  • A price that stays valid after the run (hotel rates change many times a day)

Free-cancellation dates are as shown by Google for each offer and may differ from the booking site's final terms. If you show these prices to your own customers, label them with the time they were collected (scrapedAt) and send customers to the booking site for the live rate. Consumer protection rules on price display (for example the EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive and Price Indication Directive, the US FTC rules on junk fees, and the Israeli Consumer Protection Law) apply to how YOU present these prices. Mislabeling will result in:

  • Negative reviews
  • Refund requests
  • Trust erosion in the broader UnseenUser actor catalog

Use the phrase "prices shown on Google Hotels at

Google marks some hotels and some booking-site offers as paid placements. This Actor keeps them in Google's order and flags them (isSponsored). Sponsored offers link through Google's ad redirect (google.com/aclk?...); organic offers link directly to the booking site.

  • ✅ "Show my client the five cheapest offers for this hotel, with a note on which are sponsored" - permitted
  • ✅ "Analyze how often the official site is the cheapest offer in our city" - permitted
  • ❌ "Open every sponsored link automatically to test the booking flow" - each opening can register as an ad click and costs the advertiser money; prohibited
  • ❌ "Strip the sponsored flag and present paid placements as neutral rankings" - misleading to your users

Following a booking link opens a third-party site with its own terms and privacy policy. UnseenUser has no relationship with any booking site, hotel or Google, and does not earn commission on any booking.

I. Vacation Rentals and Small Properties - Personal Data Care

When vacationRentals is on, and for small guest houses, the listing often belongs to a private host rather than a company. In that case the coordinates can point to a person's home and the phone number can be a personal mobile number. This is personal data under GDPR, CCPA and Israeli Privacy Protection Law (including Amendment 13, which treats location data with particular care).

You must:

  • Use rental coordinates only at the level needed for your purpose (for example neighborhood-level market analysis), not to identify or visit hosts
  • Not compile lists of private hosts' phone numbers or addresses for outreach, lead generation or resale
  • Not combine rental listings with other data sources to work out who owns or lives in a property
  • Honor any deletion or objection request from a host promptly (typically within 30 days under GDPR); UnseenUser is the software vendor, not the data controller, so do not route such requests to UnseenUser

Aggregating business locations into territory analysis or competitor mapping is generally permitted; aggregating private hosts' locations into a register of individuals is not.

Hotel content in the output has several rights layers:

  • Photos (images) - owned by the hotel, the photographer, Google or a booking partner
  • Descriptions and highlights - written by Google or the hotel and protected by copyright
  • Review topics and other-site ratings - aggregated figures derived from guests' reviews on Google and other travel sites; the underlying reviews stay the property of their authors and the sites that host them

You may:

  • Analyze prices, star classes, ratings and amenities (facts, typically no copyright issue)
  • Show a photo or short description with attribution in internal tools and client shortlists
  • Report aggregated figures ("average rating 4.3 across 20 hotels")

You may NOT:

  • Republish photos or descriptions in bulk on a public website, app or listing service without a license
  • Train commercial AI or ML models on the photos, descriptions or review-derived data without proper licensing. Google's Terms restrict reuse of its content, and recent litigation (NYT v. OpenAI, Andersen v. Stability AI, Reddit v. Perplexity) shows that AI training on platform data is contested. The Publisher (UnseenUser) does NOT authorize, and has no ability to authorize, AI training use. Your AI training use is your own legal exposure.
  • Try to recover individual reviews or reviewer identities from the aggregated figures

The Actor deliberately never outputs guest review texts, reviewer names or links to individual reviews.

K. Competitor Price Data - Competition Law

Hotel owners and revenue managers commonly use public competitor rates to set their own prices. That is lawful unilateral behavior. It becomes a competition-law risk when competitors use the same data to align prices with each other:

UseStatus
A hotel checks nearby competitors' public rates each day and sets its own price✅ Permitted
A travel agency compares booking-site prices to find the best deal for a client✅ Permitted
A consultant produces an aggregated, anonymized market price report for one client✅ Generally permitted
Several competing hotels share one pricing tool fed with each other's rates to set prices together❌ Risk of unlawful coordination (US Sherman Act, EU TFEU Article 101, Israeli Economic Competition Law)
Using the data to agree, signal or police a common minimum price with competitors❌ Price fixing - prohibited

US authorities have brought and supported cases against shared algorithmic pricing tools in the rental and hotel sectors (for example the Department of Justice action against RealPage and the hotel-pricing cases around shared revenue-management software). This Actor returns public prices; YOU are responsible for using them unilaterally and lawfully. Consult qualified competition counsel before building a pricing product used by several competing businesses.
