iCIMS Jobs Scraper: iCIMS portals and iCIMS Attract career sites

Scrape jobs from employer career sites on iCIMS, both kinds in one Actor: classic iCIMS-hosted portals (https://careers-<company>.icims.com) and iCIMS Attract (Jibe) sites on the employer's own domain (https://careers.costco.com, https://careers.mountsinai.org). The kind is read from the address. Each row has the title, place with ZIP, posting date, job type, category, pay when the employer states it, the full description and, on Attract sites, the apply link. Export to CSV, Excel or JSON, or use the API.

USD 0.39 per 1,000 jobs. No login, no browser. Not affiliated with iCIMS.

What you get

  • Attract (Jibe) sites: the site's own search, newest first, up to 100 full jobs per request (description, address, employer, categories, apply link): no job-page requests.
  • Classic portals: every open job from the portal's sitemap, then one framed job page each (39 KB instead of the 367 KB full page) with its structured data and the portal's own field list ("Job Type", "Min Pay Rate", "Posted Pay Range"...), kept in extra.portalFields.
  • Pay as the employer states it: structured pay with its unit from the page's own pay text, else the portal's pay fields ("Min Pay Rate USD $25.00/Hr."), else a pay sentence in the description ("The salary range for the role is $58661 - $73530 Annually."). In our tests: pay on 14 of 20 Pinkerton rows and 16 of 20 Mount Sinai rows.
  • Cleaned portal data: "UNAVAILABLE" placeholders (company, street, city, country) are never output, the place comes from the portal's Location field when the address is empty ("AR-LITTLE ROCK" becomes Little Rock, AR), and dates that some portals stamp with the time of the request (a posting date exactly two years before the visit) are dropped instead of being reported as real dates.

Which sites

There is no public list of iCIMS employers, so you give the ones you want: open the employer's careers page, click through to its job search and copy the address. These answered on 20 Oct 2026:

Input examples

{ "sites": [{ "url": "https://careers.mountsinai.org" }], "keywords": ["nurse"], "maxJobs": 200 }

A portal that prints no company name, with the name set and new jobs only (daily schedule):

{ "sites": [{ "url": "https://uscareers-pinkerton.icims.com/jobs/search" }], "companyName": "Pinkerton", "onlyNewJobs": true }

Example row

From a saved Pinkerton sitemap and job page, with "Company name" set to Pinkerton because this portal prints "UNAVAILABLE" (empty fields left out, description shortened):

Good to know

  • The Actor identifies itself on iCIMS with a bot User-Agent (UsefulApiJobsBot, with a link to our Apify page). In our tests the portals' firewall answered a captcha page to browser-like scripts and answered the identified bot normally. If a portal still blocks a run, the run summary says so.
  • Search words on classic portals must be in the job title as written in the job's web address (those portals have no usable search page): a job whose address says only "agent" matches only "agent". On Attract sites the site's own search runs over titles and descriptions.
  • Places on classic portals are known only after the job page is read: jobs in other places are read but not saved or charged. On Attract sites the place filter runs on the list.
  • Posted within (days) on classic portals uses the sitemap's last-change date. Portals with request-time dates (Emory and Security USA in our tests) give no posting date at all.
  • Some portals give no company (Pinkerton): set "Company name". A pay line with only "$" and no known country gets no currency (CommonSpirit).
  • Attract sites follow a robots.txt crawl delay of 5 s: a 20-job run is one list request and takes about 9 s. A classic portal reads one job page per job, about 1.1 s each.
  • Costco's list includes records from its own catalog of typical positions, which its descriptions say are not necessarily open; they are Costco's data and are delivered as listed. Mount Sinai's apply links lead to its Oracle site.
  • Keep "Open each job page" on for classic portals: without the job page a row has only the title from the address and the link.

Who uses it

  • Recruiters and staffing agencies: new jobs at target employers every day, with stated pay.
  • Healthcare and security hiring research: openings and pay by employer and place.
  • Job boards and aggregators: clean iCIMS feeds with pay.

Output: one row per job

Every Actor in this family writes the same columns, so you can merge boards in one sheet or database.

FieldWhat it holds
jobIdThe board's own job id
title, companyJob title and hiring company (as the board shows them)
companyUrl, companyLogoUrlCompany page and logo on the board, when given
location, city, region, postalCode, countryLocation as shown, and its parts; country is an ISO code (FR, DE, US...)
remote, workplaceTypetrue/false and remote, hybrid or onsite, only when the board says so
salaryMin, salaryMax, salaryCurrency, salaryPeriod, salaryTextSalary range as numbers, ISO currency, HOUR/DAY/WEEK/MONTH/YEAR; empty when the board gives none (never guessed)
employmentType, employmentTypeTextFULL_TIME, PART_TIME, TEMPORARY, INTERN, APPRENTICE, CONTRACTOR, FREELANCE..., and the board's own wording
experienceLevel, category, skillsWhen the board gives them
datePosted, validThroughISO 8601 dates
descriptionText, descriptionHtmlFull description as plain text and as HTML
applyUrl, jobUrlWhere to apply, and the job's page on the board
sourceBoard, searchLabel, scrapedAtWhich board, which of your searches found it, when
duplicateKeyThe same key for the same ad posted on several boards (or reposted): title without (m/w/d) or H/F tags, company without legal form, city, country. Use it to merge results from several of our board Actors
extraA few fields only this board has

Contact email addresses and phone numbers inside descriptions are removed: this Actor never collects recruiters' personal contact details.

Job alerts: only new jobs, sent where you work

  1. Switch on Only new jobs since the last run and schedule the Actor (daily, hourly). It remembers the jobs it has already delivered for the same searches and filters, in a key-value store on your own account (named job-boards-seen-
  2. Paste a Slack or Discord webhook (or a Zapier or Make webhook, which can email you) into Send new jobs to. After each run that found new jobs you get one message with the count and up to 10 jobs with their links. Free: the message is never billed.

Apify's own integrations (Google Sheets, email, webhooks) work too.

Pricing

Pay per job saved: USD 0.39 per 1,000 jobs (USD 0.00039 a job), plus USD 0.002 per run start. No monthly rental, no charge for jobs skipped as duplicates, already seen or filtered out. Set a maximum cost per run in Apify and the Actor stops just before it, keeping everything saved so far.

Use it through the API

curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/usefulapi~icims-jobs-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_API_TOKEN" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"sites":[{"url":"https://careers.costco.com"},{"url":"https://uscareers-pinkerton.icims.com/jobs/search"},{"url":"https://careers.mountsinai.org"}],"maxJobs":20}'

Python: ApifyClient("YOUR_API_TOKEN").actor("usefulapi/icims-jobs-scraper").call(run_input={...}), then read the dataset items.

Good to know

  • Polite by design: one request at a time per site with a pause between requests, and the site's robots.txt is followed. Runs read public job pages only: no login, no candidate profiles or CVs.
  • What a run summary tells you: the OUTPUT record has jobs saved per search, jobs skipped (duplicates, seen before, too old) and why a run stopped early, if it did.
  • Is it legal? The Actor reads job ads that the board publishes openly, the same pages a job seeker sees. You are responsible for how you use the data (for example, the board's terms and data protection rules in your country).
