📍 Search Strategy & Limits

The Google Places API limits results to 60 places per search query (3 pages of 20 results).

To fulfill requests for more than 60 leads (e.g., maxProfiles = 100 or 200), this Actor uses a smart Grid Search Expansion strategy:

1. Initial Search: Searches the requested location.
2. Text Search Fallback: If more leads are needed, tries a text-based search.
3. Grid Expansion: If still more leads are needed (hitting the 60 limit), the Actor automatically moves the search center to 4 nearby points (North, South, East, West ~10km offset) to find new, unique businesses.

This allows the scraper to retrieve 100+ leads even though Google tries to limit it to 60.
