It is built for developers and legal teams putting agents, research tools and compliance workflows on top of primary law.

What you get

• 5 million+ sections of US primary law, kept current by scheduled refreshes.
• Federal law: the U.S. Code, the Code of Federal Regulations, the U.S. Constitution, the Federal Rules of Procedure and Evidence, the Federal Register, the Statutes at Large, and federal agency guidance.
• State law: statutory codes for all 50 states, DC and Puerto Rico, plus state regulations, constitutions, court rules and attorney general opinions, where each state publishes them.
• Status on every section, such as in force, repealed or superseded, so your agent does not cite dead law as current.
• Citation resolution. Turn a citation like 42 U.S.C. 1983 or 16 C.F.R. 444.1 into the exact section, confirmed, with its official source link. An unresolvable citation comes back as a clear negative, which is what you want when checking citations a model wrote.

Tools and pricing

You pay per Vaquill credit a call uses, at $0.015 per credit. Calls that return an error are not charged, and several tools charge nothing when they find nothing. A citation that does not resolve is still charged, because a confirmed "no such section" is the answer.
