Home Depot Canada Scraper: store price, stock and aisle

Scrape homedepot.ca products with store-level data: the CAD price at a specific store, the exact number of units in stock, the aisle and bay where the product sits, online stock, sale and bulk prices, and ratings. Pick stores by number, by postal code or city (nearest first), by province, or take all of Canada. Search once and get the same products priced and stocked at every store you picked. How to use it

1. Add search terms (e.g. cordless drill), categories (a category page URL or a code such as category-drills), any homedepot.ca URLs, or product IDs (the 10-digit number at the end of a product URL).
2. Pick stores. Use store IDs (e.g. 7001), a postal code or city plus how many nearby stores to include, whole provinces, or all stores. If you pick nothing, store 7001 (Scarborough, ON) is used.
3. Set how many products you want per search. Optionally turn on In stock only, Include product details or French.

When you select several stores, the actor searches at the first store and then checks the same products at every other store. This is ideal for price and stock comparison. To give each store its own search results (its own assortment), turn on Run the search separately at each store.

FAQ

How many results can I get? Every page of results can be collected, even for searches with more than 10,000 products. Set maxItemsPerQuery to 0 for everything. On very large searches, Home Depot repeats some products on its deeper result pages, so a few products never show up in the normal order. The scraper finds these by also going through the results sorted by price, and every product is listed once. Rows found this way have page and position empty.

How is "rows" counted with several stores? You get one row per product per store. For example, 200 products at 3 stores gives 600 rows.

Why is the price empty on some products? For some items, mostly store clearance, Home Depot shows the price only in the store. The row still has stock, aisle and bay.

Which proxy should I use? Keep the default: Apify residential proxies in Canada. Results depend on the store you choose, not on the proxy location.

How fast is it? About 40 products per request. 1,000 products at one store take about a minute.

French? Set Language to Français. Names, descriptions, specs and URLs come back in French.

Where do I find a store number? Enter a postal code or city in Stores near and turn on Also save the selected stores. Each store row includes its number.

Is it legal to scrape Home Depot Canada? This Actor only collects publicly available data: product listings, store prices, stock levels, aisle locations and store details that anyone can see on homedepot.ca without an account, plus descriptions, specs and top customer reviews if you turn on Include product details. Collecting publicly available data is generally legal, but you're responsible for how you use it. With Include product details turned on, results can include the display names reviewers post with their reviews, and that counts as personal data. Does it access any private data? No. Everything comes from pages homedepot.ca shows to any visitor without logging in. It never uses a login, never touches private or restricted accounts, and never reaches password-protected areas.
