🛍️ Etsy Scraper — Product Research, Tags, Prices & Sales Data
The pay-per-result alternative to eRank, EverBee, Marmalead, Sale Samurai and EtsyHunt — raw Etsy data instead of a $10–30/month dashboard. No API key, no login, no Chrome extension. Structured data for product research, ChatGPT/Claude, spreadsheets, and analytics pipelines.

Live output for stickers — every ranking listing with its views, views/day, favorites, favorite-rate, price, quantity and age. Sort any column; the winners rise to the top.
🔑 AI tools can't see Etsy — this scraper is their eyes
Etsy sellers run product research through ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot every day — but those models have no real-time access to Etsy. They guess from stale training data. This Etsy scraper returns live marketplace data you feed straight into your AI tool, spreadsheet, or pipeline.
Type a keyword → get every ranking listing with its tags, price, views, favorites, demand velocity, and the shop's sales. In seconds, not an afternoon of copy-paste.
📋 Etsy product research in one row per listing
| Field | What it tells you |
|---|---|
title | The keywords winners actually put in titles |
tags | Up to 13 tags — the SEO strategy hidden from Etsy's UI |
price · quantity · age_days | Pricing sweet spots, stock, proven-winner age |
views | ⚡ Listing views — hidden from everyone but the shop owner |
views_per_day | ⚡ Velocity — what's trending right now vs coasting |
favorers · fav_rate_pct | Favorites, and favorites ÷ views (buyer intent) |
who_made · made_in · partner_name · partner_location | Handmade vs manufactured, and who makes it |
shop_name · shop_sales · shop_followers · shop_rating | Who's winning the niche + their totals |
💡 Search like a shopper, not a seller. Etsy reads your search as individual keywords, not one phrase — it pulls apart your words and matches on the pieces. So pasting a whole listing title (
Handcrafted Personalized Ceramic Coffee Mug Custom Name Gift…) confuses the match and returns almost nothing. Use the 1–3 words a buyer would actually type (personalized mug).
🏷️ Extract the tags top sellers rank for
Etsy hides a listing's tags from the page — but they're the exact SEO strategy behind every winner. This works as an Etsy tag extractor: pull the up-to-13 tags off the highest-demand listings for your keyword and see the vocabulary Etsy's algorithm is actually rewarding — no guessing, no separate keyword tool.
📈 Spot what's trending — and what's already winning
The two questions every seller Googles — "what's trending on Etsy" and "what are the best sellers" — both come straight out of one run, from live data instead of a stale trends page:
- Trending right now → sort by
views_per_day. A listing pulling 100+ views a day is heating up this week, even if its lifetime total is still small. That's the early signal before a niche gets crowded. - Proven best sellers → sort by
viewsandshop_sales. High lifetime views on an older listing (age_days) is a product that's been converting for months — a real winner, not a fluke.
Run any keyword and the climbers and the established winners sit side by side: the trend, and the proof it pays.
🎯 Who uses this
- 🤖 AI-powered sellers — feed real competitor data into ChatGPT/Claude instead of a guess. Paste results, ask "what patterns and gaps do you see?"
- 📈 Product researchers — sort by
views_per_dayfor what's trending,fav_rate_pctfor what buyers want,shop_salesfor whether the niche pays. - 🛒 Print-on-demand & dropshippers — spot what's genuinely handmade vs manufactured, and read the declared production partner.
- 💻 Developers — clean JSON with computed metrics, ready for databases, ML, or AI pipelines.
📊 Example output

Live output for candles (84k monthly searches) — one row per listing. Here's a real top-demand result as raw JSON:
{"rank": 6,"title": "Soy Candle Wax for Candle Making, Kit Includes Premium Natural Soy Wax Flakes, Cotton Candle Wicks, Wick Stickers","views": 164350,"views_per_day": 88.1,"favorers": 6615,"fav_rate_pct": 4.02,"price": 34.99,"age_days": 1864,"who_made": "I made it","tags": "Candle making kit, Candle supplies, DIY Candles, Soy Wax, Candle Wicks, …","shop_name": "DIYcraftZone","shop_sales": 13987,"shop_rating": 4.73,"search_term": "candles"}
And here's the other side — a top-demand dad hat listing that reads like a cute niche gift, but the data reveals its supply chain. It's declared as made by another company, and partner_name + partner_location name the factory:
{"rank": 3,"title": "Dog Dad Hat, Embroidered Baseball Cap, Gift for Dog Lovers","price": 14.99,"views": 76309,"views_per_day": 34.1,"favorers": 4072,"fav_rate_pct": 5.34,"who_made": "Another company / person","made_in": "Zhejiang, China","partner_name": "GoldtopHat","partner_location": "Zhejiang, China","tags": "dog dad hat, dog dad gift, dog lover hat, embroidered hat, baseball cap, pet dad gift, fathers day gift, …","shop_name": "HatphileMade","shop_sales": 24489,"search_term": "dad hat"}
⚠️ A blank production-partner field is not proof of "handmade." Etsy requires sellers to declare a partner only when someone other than the seller made the item — a blank means they didn't disclose one. We show exactly what was declared (like the Zhejiang factory above); you decide what an empty column means.
🚫 Why not the official Etsy API?
Most sellers Google "etsy api" looking for data — then hit a wall. Here's why this is easier:
| This scraper | Official Etsy API | |
|---|---|---|
| API key / OAuth / app approval | none | required |
| Search Etsy by keyword across shops | ✅ | ❌ not supported |
| Daily request limit | none to manage | ~1,000/day until Etsy grants commercial approval |
| Setup | keyword in, data out | dev account + code |
| Runs from ChatGPT / n8n / Sheets | ✅ | ⚠️ you build it |
The official API can't even search Etsy by keyword. This can.
💸 A no-subscription alternative to EverBee, eRank, Marmalead, Sale Samurai & EtsyHunt
EverBee, eRank, Marmalead, Sale Samurai, Alura, and EtsyHunt are $10–30/month dashboards. This is a pay-per-result alternative — run it only when you need it, and pipe the raw Etsy data straight into your own spreadsheets, database, or AI.
| This scraper | eRank / EverBee / Marmalead | |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing | pay per result (no subscription) | $10–30 / month |
| Chrome extension / account | neither | account (EverBee needs an extension) |
| Raw data export (JSON / CSV) | ✅ | ⚠️ dashboard-first |
| Feeds ChatGPT / Claude / n8n / API | ✅ | ❌ |
| Competitor views & shop sales | ✅ | ✅ |
| Run it in an automation / on a schedule | ✅ | ❌ |
If you searched "eRank alternative," "EverBee alternative," or "EverBee vs eRank" — this is the no-subscription, raw-data option: the same competitor and product-research data, on your terms.
🔌 Use it with ChatGPT / Claude, n8n, or Sheets
Run it, export the CSV, and paste into ChatGPT with a prompt like "Here's live Etsy data for 'personalized mug' — top listings with views, favorites, price and tags. What tags am I missing and is my price in range?" Or connect the actor directly via Apify's MCP server, automate with the Apify n8n node, or one call:
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/YOUR_USERNAME~etsy-search-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=YOUR_TOKEN" \-H "Content-Type: application/json" -d '{ "searchTerms": ["personalized mug"], "maxResultsPerTerm": 100 }'
Or drive it from Python — no Etsy API, no scraping code to maintain:
from apify_client import ApifyClientclient = ApifyClient("YOUR_TOKEN")run = client.actor("YOUR_USERNAME/etsy-search-scraper").call(run_input={"searchTerms": ["personalized mug"], "maxResultsPerTerm": 100})for row in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():print(row["title"], row["views"], row["views_per_day"], row["price"])

FAQ
Do I need an Etsy account, API key, or login? No — none of them. You enter a keyword and get data back. No OAuth, no developer account, no Chrome extension.
How fresh is the data? Live. Views, favorites, prices, and shop sales are pulled at the moment the run happens — nothing is cached between runs.
How many results can I get per keyword? Up to 300 (three pages). Etsy stops serving new unique listings past ~3 pages and starts recycling ones you've already seen, so 300 is the real ceiling of unique results per term. To cover more of a market, use more specific keywords.
Can I search multiple keywords in one run? Yes — add as many as you want; each is scraped separately and tagged with its search_term.
My results are thin — why? Your keyword is too long. Etsy matches on individual words, not your whole phrase, so a full listing title returns almost nothing. Use the 1–3 words a buyer would type (personalized mug, not the whole title).
Is shop_sales real or estimated? Real — it's each shop's true lifetime sales number (the one on their shop page), pulled for every result at once so you don't click 50 shops. It is not an estimate like the subscription tools use. Per-listing sales aren't exposed by Etsy to anyone; use views_per_day and favorers as the per-listing demand read.
Can I see a listing's views? Yes. Etsy hides listing views from the public (only the shop owner sees them), but this returns them for every result — one of the few numbers you genuinely can't get by browsing.
Can I find trending Etsy products? Yes — sort the results by views_per_day. A listing gaining 100+ views a day is climbing right now, so it surfaces what's heating up this week rather than what topped the charts a year ago.
Can I find Etsy best sellers for a keyword? Yes — sort by views and shop_sales. High lifetime views on an older listing (age_days) marks a proven seller that's been converting for months, so you can separate real winners from one-off spikes.
My Etsy sales dropped — can this help? It can show you the competitive picture: run your main keywords and see who's ranking now, their prices, tags, and demand. It won't diagnose your own shop's analytics (Etsy only shows those to you), but it tells you what the current winners are doing differently.
Can I use it from Python? Yes — call it with the apify-client package (see the Python snippet above). You get structured rows with computed metrics, no scraping or Etsy API code to maintain.
Can I get competitor tags? Yes — the tags field returns the up-to-13 tags each listing ranks for, which Etsy hides from the listing page. It works as an Etsy tag extractor.
Can I filter the results? Yes — by category, shop country, price range, listing age / date, minimum views or favorites, and who-made.
What export formats are supported? JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, HTML, and RSS — plus the live API endpoint and Google Sheets sync.
Can I use it with ChatGPT or Claude? Yes — export the results and paste them into your AI with a prompt, or connect the actor directly via Apify's MCP server so the AI runs it for you. See the Use it with ChatGPT / Claude section above.
Can I automate it or run it on a schedule? Yes — schedule runs in Apify and pipe the output into Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion, a database, or Slack via n8n, Make, Zapier, or webhooks.
Does it work for print-on-demand and dropshipping research? Yes. Sort by demand to spot winning products, and read who_made + partner_name + partner_location to see what's genuinely handmade versus manufactured.
Which countries does it cover? You can restrict to a seller country (US, UK, CA, AU, and more) with the shop-location filter, or leave it open for all countries.
Why are the partner_name / partner_location columns empty on most listings? Because most sellers don't declare a production partner. Etsy only requires it when someone other than the seller made the item — a blank field means it wasn't disclosed, not that the item is definitely handmade.
Does it collect reviews or buyer data? No. It returns shop-level rating and public listing data only — no individual reviews text, no buyer information, no private or login-gated data.
Will I get blocked, or do I need proxies? No — proxying, retries, and blocking are handled for you. You just enter a keyword.
How much does it cost? Pay-per-result — you're only charged for the listings you receive, with no monthly subscription. See the Pricing tab for the current rate.
How is this different from eRank, EverBee, or Marmalead? Those are monthly-subscription dashboards (often extension-locked). This is a pay-per-result tool that hands you the raw data to pipe into your own spreadsheets, database, or AI — no subscription, no extension, no lock-in.
