- Several languages and countries in one run: new Languages (several) (
languages) and Countries (several) (countries). Every combination is read, a review that two storefronts both show is delivered and charged once, and Maximum reviews per app applies to each combination. Language and Country keep working as before.
- Every review row now says its
language and country; insights rows carry them too, one per app and language/country.
- New Only the last N days (
lastDays) rolling window for schedules; with Newest order, paging stops once reviews get older.
- New filters: App versions (
appVersions, 9.1 matches 9.1.0 and 9.1.23) and Exclude reviews with these keywords (excludeKeywords).
- Richer free insights row: developer reply rate per star and reply time (average and median hours), monthly and app-version trends with average stars, and top complaint (1-2 stars) and praise (4-5 stars) keywords. Plain word counting, no AI; the existing insight fields are unchanged.
- New output views: Review insights and App details.
- Input names of other Google Play review Actors are accepted:
startUrls, sort, maxItems, recentDays.
- A language/country that fails while others work gets its own free error row instead of hiding the problem; the app is not counted as failed. App metadata is still fetched and charged once per app.
Google Play Reviews Scraper API (google-play-reviews-reliable) is merged into this Actor. Its input works here unchanged: change only the Actor name.
- Find apps by name: new App names to search (
appQueries) and Apps per search (maxSearchResultsPerQuery), with a free search_summary row. Up to 200 apps per run (was 50).
- Monitor new reviews: Monitor name (
monitorName) remembers delivered reviews across scheduled runs and marks each review isNew; Emit only new reviews (onlyNew) outputs and charges only reviews not delivered before. Existing monitors of Google Play Reviews Scraper API continue from the same key-value store.
- New filters: review contains any / all of a keyword list (
containsAny, containsAll); date bounds also accept ISO 8601 timestamps.
- Oldest-first sort, and a single star value (minimum = maximum) is now filtered by Google Play itself, so far fewer pages are read.
- Richer free insights row: app-version and monthly distributions, keyword mentions (
insightKeywords), and scan details (reviews read, pages, why the scan stopped).
- Richer app metadata row: star histogram, category, icon, content rating, ads and in-app purchase flags, release date and last update time. Pricing is unchanged.
- Reliability: per-request timeout (
requestTimeoutSecs), retries with growing waits (retries), direct access with automatic Apify Proxy fallback (autoProxyFallback) or your own proxy (proxyConfiguration), a scan budget per app (maxPagesPerApp), reviews streamed to the dataset page by page, and a clean stop before the run timeout.
- Bad input never fails the run: mistakes such as a minimum star rating above the maximum are reported in error rows and the status message, with nothing scraped or charged.
- Input names of Google Play Reviews Scraper API are accepted as aliases (
appIdsOrUrls, minRating, maxRating, developerReply, includeAppMetadata, monitorKey, searchCountry); with them, rows also carry that Actor's output field names. Option Add Google Play Reviews Scraper API field names (reliableFieldNames) turns those names on for any input.
- Lower run start fee: $0.0001 per GB of run memory (was higher), so short runs and AI-agent calls cost less.
- Clearer title and description, and README cleaned up (no duplicated sections).
- Input form: the essential fields come first; optional settings are grouped under "Advanced settings".
- Lower price per review.
- Simpler pricing: Apify platform usage is now included in the per-result price, so you only pay per result plus a small start fee.
- Subscriber discounts on paid Apify plans: Bronze −10%, Silver −15%, Gold and higher −20% per result.
- Prefilled example input, so the first run works with one click.
- New Output tab with a results table and a JSON link for APIs and AI agents.
- README section on using the Actor from AI agents (Apify MCP server) and the REST API.
- Safer memory limits to keep runs fast and costs predictable.
- At the end of a run, the status message now links to the reviews and issues pages, so you can rate the Actor (1–5 ★) or suggest improvements.
