๐Ÿช‘ 1stDibs Antiques Scraper

Turn any 1stDibs search or category page into priced rows. Give the Actor a URL and it returns each listing with its title, asking price, currency, maker, category path, description, image and listing link. No login, no API key.

1stDibs is where dealers in antiques, vintage furniture, jewellery and art list their stock at retail. The site shows a few listings at a time behind infinite scroll, prices live inside the page, and nothing can be exported. If you are pricing an inventory, checking what a dealer's stock is actually asked for online, or tracking a category over months, you end up copying rows by hand. This Actor reads the public listing pages and writes each item into a dataset you can open in a spreadsheet.

Who uses itWhat they use the listings for
๐Ÿฌ Buyers of antique and vintage dealershipsPricing the inventory on a seller's asset schedule against live retail asks
๐Ÿ“ Appraisers and insurersBuilding comparable sets by maker, period and category
๐Ÿ“ˆ Category analystsTracking asking prices for a maker or a style over time
๐Ÿ›‹ Interior design and sourcing teamsPulling a priced shortlist for a client project from one search

๐Ÿ“‹ What it does

๐Ÿ’ก Why it matters: a dealership's value sits in its stock. The fastest sanity check on a seller's numbers is what the same kind of piece is asked for on the largest listing site in the trade.

  • ๐Ÿ”— Runs from any 1stDibs URL. A search result page, a category page, or a single listing page.
  • ๐Ÿ’ต Returns the asking price as a number, with its currency alongside, so a column totals without cleaning.
  • ๐Ÿท Captures the maker as 1stDibs credits it, for example Woka Lamps.
  • ๐Ÿ—‚ Keeps the full category path, for example Home > Furniture > Lighting > Table Lamps, which is what makes comparables sortable.
  • ๐Ÿ“„ Carries the listing description and image URL, so a row is enough to judge a piece without opening the page.
  • ๐Ÿ“ฆ One row per listing, the same nine fields every run, exportable as CSV, Excel, JSON or XML.

๐Ÿ“Š Output

Every listing is one flat row.

โœจ Why choose this Actor

What you get
Price as a numberprice and currency are separate fields, so a column sums without a find and replace.
No credentialsThe listing pages are public. No account, no API key, no OAuth.
You choose the sliceAny search or category URL works, so you decide the maker, period or price band before the run starts.
The same fields every runAppend a year of weekly pulls into one dataset without reconciling columns.
You pay per rowNo subscription. A run that returns nothing costs nothing.

  1. Create a free Apify account. New accounts start with $5 of credit.
  2. Open the Actor and select Try for free.
  3. Build the search you want on 1stDibs itself, then paste that page's URL into startUrl.
  4. Set maxItems to cap the run.

{
"startUrl": "https://www.1stdibs.com/search/?q=lamp",

Free plan runs return up to 10 rows as a preview. Any paid Apify plan lifts that to 1,000,000 per run.

๐Ÿ”Œ Integrate with any app

The dataset is available through the Apify API as soon as the run finishes. Use run-sync-get-dataset-items for a one-shot call, webhooks to trigger what happens next, or the Make, Zapier, Airbyte and LangChain integrations listed on the Actor page.

๐Ÿค– Use with an AI agent

Give an agent live access to 1stDibs listings over the Model Context Protocol:

$claude mcp add --transport http apify "https://mcp.apify.com?tools=acquistion-automation/1stdibs-antiques-scraper"

Then ask it in plain language to price a category and read the rows back.

โ“ Frequently asked questions

Does it return the dealer or seller name? No. The Actor returns brand, the maker or house credited on the listing, such as Woka Lamps. There is no seller or dealer contact field in the output.

Can I scrape one listing instead of a search? Yes. Paste the listing's own URL into startUrl and the Actor collects that item.

Why is a field empty? Dealers do not fill in every field. The Actor returns what the page shows, and leaves the rest empty.

Is the price the sale price? No. It is the asking price shown on the listing at the moment of the run. 1stDibs dealers frequently negotiate below it.

Does it follow pagination? Yes. It keeps loading further results from the URL you gave it until it reaches maxItems.

What can I export? CSV, Excel, JSON and XML from the run page, or JSON straight from the API.

About Acquisition Automation Co.

We build automation for people buying businesses. The repetitive part of an acquisition search, checking listings, pulling public records, tracking owners and assets, is work a machine should do, so the buyer's time goes into judging deals instead of collecting them.
