Actor not working, need refund !
Closed
The actor is not working — no results were retrieved. I also forgot to cancel the trial after testing, and $25 has been deducted from my account.
I kindly request a refund, as I did not receive any results using the actor, and I do not intend to use it again since I have found an alternative.

Hi beaming_baobab,
Thank you for reaching out, and I'm really sorry to hear the Actor didn’t deliver the expected results.
I will contact Apify Support on your behalf to request a compensation for this subscription. You’re also welcome to reach out to them directly at support@apify.com to help expedite the process — just mention the Actor name and your account details.
Additionally, if you don’t mind sharing a bit more about what didn’t work (e.g., the input you used or any specific errors you encountered), it would really help me improve the Actor and enhance the overall user experience.
Thanks again for your feedback, and I appreciate your understanding.
Best regards, Mostafa

I've already reached out to the Apify Support team regarding your case and am currently waiting for their response. Please feel free to contact them directly as well, since all compensations processes are handled exclusively by their support team—not by individual developers.

I just heard back from the Apify Support team — they’ve issued the compensation, and the credits have now been added to your account. You can view the update under the Billing tab → Invoices section on your Apify dashboard. Thanks!

Hi Mostafa,
Thank you for the prompt reply and the update — much appreciated.
Regarding your query about what went wrong during the run: the input was a valid list of Facebook post URLs (I was using bulk input), so there was nothing wrong on that end. However, after reviewing the run logs, I noticed that the worker stopped at the first post URL and raised an error. Upon checking the URL, I found that the post had been deleted from Facebook. That’s likely why the actor crashed.
You might consider adding some exception handling — for example, if a post URL not found, the worker could simply skip it.
Kind Regards, Zakaria

You are welcome! Thanks for your feedback, I will consider it and make the necessary changes. Have a great day!
