Creates tons of demo data that is charged for
Closed
Recently I tried to do a search and I set my maximum result to 500. Yet, I still got more than a thousand results, and out of that, only a few (less than 10) were actual results. The rest were demo data. But I was still charged for it.

Hello,
This is explained in the readme/documentation of the actor as:
To prevent abuse and ensure our scraper remains accessible to everyone, the free mode returns up to 1,000 demo results. Subscribing to a paid plan removes this limitation, providing only real data without demo objects.
You can read more about it at https://apify.com/apidojo/tweet-scraper#free-users
From free users, nobody does any profit. It is free for you and free for us so no one is getting charged or paid.
If you subscribe to a paid plan, you won't see these demo objects. Please read the documentation before using the actor and writing wrong comments like "scam", There is a very big team behind this actor working day and night to keep it up.
Cheers
You should really look into some other model of offering trial, otherwise the bad reviews are gonna keep coming in.
No one reads the docs. Everyone just looks at the top, where it says $0.40 per 1k results.
Maybe a disclaimer before running would be fine. Why doesn't it work like every other pay per result actor tho?

Hello,
Every actor built differently and has a different logic so there is no one-fits-for-all solution. Unfortunately this is the only way we can prevent abusive behaviour for now but this will change in the following days with the tiered pricing Apify is currently working on.
Everyone should read the docs. That's what you should do before running any product and giving false and bad reviews which is just an insult to lots of people's honest work. If you don't read it upfront, you can just check it to troubleshoot these kind of issues.
Cheers
Sorry for the bad review. I will remove it.
Updating the pricing to reflect it is the smart thing to do.
You should deal with reality as it is and not how you wish it is.
People don't read docs and then leave bad reviews when they're charged for it. If you don't take that into account, you'll get bad reviews.
You scraper is good, didn't mean to insult your work!
All the best!
Forgive me, I can't figure out how to remove reviews. There's no edit/remove button.
