Issue with Date Range Filtering in Tweet Scraper V2
Hello,
I am using the Tweet Scraper V2 (Pay Per Result) actor to fetch tweets from a specific date range ("start": "2023-01-01" to "end": "2023-02-01"). However, the actor consistently returns the most recent tweets (starting from yesterday) instead of the tweets within the specified date range.
Here is the configuration I am using:
{ "customMapFunction": "(object) => { return {...object} }", "end": "2023-02-01", "includeSearchTerms": false, "maxItems": 1000, "minimumFavorites": 0, "minimumReplies": 0, "minimumRetweets": 0, "onlyImage": false, "onlyQuote": false, "onlyTwitterBlue": false, "onlyVerifiedUsers": false, "onlyVideo": false, "sort": "Latest", "start": "2023-01-01", "twitterHandles": [ "BeneditoAlvarez" ] }
Expected Behavior: The scraper should return tweets posted between 2023-01-01 and 2023-02-01.
Actual Behavior: The scraper returns the most recent tweets, ignoring the specified date range.
Could you please investigate this issue and let me know if there’s a misconfiguration or a bug causing this behavior?
Thank you for your assistance!
Best regards, Hector

Hello,
start/end filters don't work with twitterHandles. If you want to fetch a profile's tweets by date, you need to use Twitter queries.
Please refer to our documentation as we have an exact example for this use-case https://apify.com/apidojo/tweet-scraper#fetching-the-tweets-of-a-profile
Cheers
