Hi there, I have a question about getting Facebook comments from a livestream recording which does is not publicly available, (requires an account in order to view the video recording)
Is it possible to scrape these comments?
@observant_vest Nope, no plans to support any login-based data because from a legal point of view, it's a ToS violation.
Limiting comments by date is not viable: FB has their own filter, which suppose to queue comments from newest, but it includes replies. The comment would be 2 days old and the reply 4 hours old so the ordering for the date filter wouldn't be efficient as it would stop earlier and the matching comments would be "under" - see the screenshot.
