Help with understanding how timezone works with onlyPostsNewerThan and onlyPostsOlderThan
Great actor.
One thing that is not clear to me is how the date filtering works with time zones.
Questions:
- Does the timezone of the
onlyPostsNewerThan
andonlyPostsOlderThan
affect the filter results? - What timezone does the scrape "see" the posts in?
What is the expected behaviour in these cases:
- Given
onlyPostsNewerThan
is2025-01-01
would a post made on2025-01-01T00:01:00+01:00
be included? - Given
onlyPostsNewerThan
is2025-01-01T00:00:00+01:00
would a post that was made on2025-01-01T00:01:00+00:00
be included?

Hi!
Suggested usage is UTC in ISO format, i.e. 2025-01-23T01:53:23.629Z
Internal dates and times from Instagram are also expected to be UTC, so to prevent confusion, please just stick with UTC
I will close the issue now, but if there is anything else we could help with, please let us know.
