How to scrape ALDI and Coles

An ALDI Special Buy has "specialType": "Special Buy", "onSaleDate": "2026-10-07" and "promotionText": "On Sale Wed 07 Oct". A Coles multi-buy such as "Buy 2 for $9.40" gives multibuyQuantity: 2 and multibuyPrice: 9.4. Prices are numbers in Australian dollars, ready for spreadsheets and charts; wasPrice and savings are filled only when the product is on special.

The Overview tab shows every product with its image, shop, price and deal, and the Prices and specials tab puts prices, unit prices, deals and multi-buys side by side. The run report lists, for every search term and link, how many products the shop lists and how many were saved, and names any product number or category that does not exist.

ALDI does not publish barcodes or stock online, and shows its nutrition panel as a picture, which is among the product's images. Ingredients and allergens come with every product the shop publishes them for; fresh produce often has none.

Are the prices the same in every store?

Coles prices are the coles.com.au online prices. ALDI's prices are the same at every ALDI store; a store only changes which products it stocks, and the scraper lists ALDI's whole range.

How many products can I scrape from ALDI and Coles?

Every product a category, specials or Special Buys page lists, to the end: about 7,500 on Coles' specials page and about 3,250 in the whole ALDI range. Set Max products to 0 to get all of them.

Can I scrape the weekly specials and ALDI Special Buys?

Yes. Paste https://www.coles.com.au/on-special for every Coles special, or add ?filter_Special=halfprice or ?filter_Special=multibuy. Does it include ratings and reviews?

No. Neither ALDI nor Coles shows product ratings on its website.

Do I need an ALDI or Coles account?

No. The scraper reads the same public product pages anyone can see without signing in.

What happens with a wrong product number or link?

The run goes on with the other inputs, and the run report lists the product numbers and categories that do not exist. A link that is not an ALDI or Coles page is named in the error message before the run starts.

Can I get results in real time?
