A broker who turns up in two searches of a run (a city and its county) is saved once.

For a single profile link, the businesses-for-sale count is filled when the profile shows all of the broker's listings, and the sold count is left empty.

As many as the directory lists for your search: every broker in a state, city or county, or the whole directory of about 7,800 brokers. A broker who turns up in two searches of a run is saved once.

Does it include phone numbers or emails?

No. BizBuySell does not show brokers' phone numbers or emails openly (they sit behind a contact form or a click), so they are not included, and contact details that brokers type into their bios are left out too. The firm's website is included when the profile shows it.

Does it include years of experience?

BizBuySell profiles have no years-of-experience field; many brokers mention it in their bio, which is included.

Do I need a BizBuySell account?

No. You don't need a BizBuySell account, cookies or an API key: the scraper collects the public directory and profiles anyone can see without signing in.

What happens with a broker who left BizBuySell or a wrong link?

The run goes on with the other inputs, and the run report lists the brokers that are no longer listed. A link that is not a BizBuySell directory or profile link is named in an error message before the run starts.
