Most Form D filers are investment funds and real-estate vehicles. By default the actor returns operating companies only (it leaves out the investment-fund and real-estate sectors and fund-like names), and filings removed by any filter are free.

Example: young California tech companies that raised at least $1M this month

FAQ

What is a Form D? A notice US companies file with the SEC within 15 days of first selling securities in a private offering under Regulation D (most startup rounds and private funds). It is public.

Does it cover companies outside the US? It covers every Form D filer, including foreign issuers raising money in the US.

Do I get emails or websites? No. Form D does not include them; it includes the issuer's phone number, address and the names of executives and directors.

How fresh is it? Filings appear on EDGAR the day they are filed; a daily schedule keeps you current.

Is it legal? Form D filings are public records published by the SEC. Use contact data in line with the laws that apply to you (for example CAN-SPAM, TCPA for calls, GDPR).

Something broke? Open an issue on the actor's Issues tab.
