BBB scraper

Copying Better Business Bureau listings by hand is a time-sink. Paste a search URL and get clean business rows in seconds.

Engineering Excellence & Reliability 🚀

• Zero-Friction Resolution: Paste a BBB search URL (the address bar after you search) or a single profile URL. Each row includes the business name, BBB rating, phone, address, categories, accreditation, and the profile link. Works for the United States and Canada.
• High-Velocity Automation: Pagination is handled for you. Large searches keep going up to your maxItems.
• Beyond the website limit: We bypass the website limitation and go beyond it. Duplicates are skipped.
• Fuller profiles: Turn on fetchFullDetails and each row picks up the website, email, owner, licenses, years in business, hours when BBB shows them, and the review and complaint totals on the profile.
• Clean exports: JSON, CSV, Excel, or API. One business per row.

🛠️ How to Play

Open BBB, run a search, then copy the address bar into startUrl. A single business profile link works too.

Input Parameters

Field	Type	Description
startUrl	String	(Required) BBB search URL or one business profile URL.
maxItems	Number	How many businesses do you actually need? (Default: 100)
fetchFullDetails	Boolean	true = open each profile for the website, email, owner, licenses, and review totals. false = the search card.

Example 1: Plumbers in Los Angeles

{
    "startUrl": "https://www.bbb.org/search?find_country=USA&find_text=plumber&find_loc=Los%20Angeles%2C%20CA",
    "maxItems": 100,
    "fetchFullDetails": false
}

Example 2: One profile, with the page details

{
    "startUrl": "https://www.bbb.org/us/ca/los-angeles/profile/hydro-jetting/tingos-plumbing-1216-1000040787",
    "maxItems": 10,
    "fetchFullDetails": true
}
