Supported searches
| Search | Example |
|---|---|
| One-way flights | Riyadh (RUH) to London (LHR) on 2026-11-10 |
| Round trip | RUH to LHR on 2026-11-10, returning 2026-11-20 |
| Several routes | origins RUH, JED × destinations DXB, CAI |
| Flexible dates | exact date plus the next 5 days |
Input fields
| Field | Type | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
origins | array | RUH | IATA codes of the departure airports. Every origin is combined with every destination |
destinations | array | LHR | IATA codes of the arrival airports |
tripType | string | auto | oneWay or roundTrip. Empty = round trip when returnDate is set, otherwise one way |
departureDate | string | — | Outbound date, YYYY-MM-DD |
returnDate | string | — | Return date, YYYY-MM-DD (required for round trips) |
flexibleDays | integer | 0 | Also search this many days after each date (max 30) |
cabin | string | any | any, economy, premiumEconomy or business |
adults | integer | 1 | Adults (12+) |
children | integer | 0 | Children (2-11) |
infants | integer | 0 | Infants on lap (under 2) |
currency | string | SAR | Currency code for prices |
maxItems | integer | 5 | Maximum flights per search, not per run. A search is one route (origin to destination) in one direction, covering its dates. See "How does maxItems work?" below |
proxyConfiguration | object | no proxy | Your proxy configuration from Apify |
Example input
{"origins": ["RUH"],"destinations": ["LHR"],"tripType": "roundTrip","departureDate": "2026-11-10","returnDate": "2026-11-20","cabin": "any","adults": 1,"currency": "SAR","maxItems": 5,"proxyConfiguration": { "useApifyProxy": false }}
Output
Each scraped item is one flight option (a direct flight or a connecting itinerary) stored as one record in the default dataset. A round trip produces records for both directions (direction: outbound / return). maxItems limits each search separately, so the total number of items can be higher than maxItems (see the FAQ).
Example output
Fares are shortened to two entries here for readability.

❓ FAQ
How do I search a round trip? Add a returnDate (the actor then searches a round trip), or set tripType to roundTrip explicitly. The actor searches the outbound and return flights and labels each record with direction.
Can I search many routes at once? Yes. Every origin is combined with every destination. Routes Riyadh Air does not operate are skipped with a warning.
How far ahead can I search? Riyadh Air sells roughly 11 months ahead. Dates beyond that are skipped with a warning.
How does maxItems work? It is a limit per search, not a total for the run. Every route in one direction is its own search, and flexibleDays dates are part of that search. Each search stops once it has stored maxItems flights (the earliest dates first). The most you can get in a run is maxItems × the number of searches, where the number of searches is origins × destinations, doubled for a round trip. Examples with maxItems: 6:
| Input | Searches | Maximum items |
|---|---|---|
| One route, one way | 1 | 6 |
| One route, round trip | 2 (outbound + return) | 12 |
| 2 origins × 3 destinations, one way | 6 | 36 |
| 2 origins × 3 destinations, round trip | 12 | 72 |
If a search has fewer flights than maxItems, you simply get all of them.
How is the price calculated? price is the lowest total for all passengers on that flight. Per-passenger prices for adults, children and infants are inside each entry of fares.
Which currencies are supported? Any currency code accepted by the airline (SAR, USD, EUR, EGP, GBP...). Unknown codes fall back to SAR.
Is this live availability? Yes, results are read live from the airline on every run, so prices and schedules reflect the moment of the scrape.
Do I need a proxy? Not by default. Enable Apify Proxy if you see blocked requests.
